Welcome! I am an Assistant Professor in Mathematics at IIT, Dharwad, India I work in Probability Theory applied to solve problems in (Differential and Algebraic) Topology. In a previous stint, I spent five wonderful years in Israel, first as a PhD student and then as a postdoc, in the Electrical Engineering (EE) department of the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. I was fortunate to have Prof. Robert J. Adler* as my doctoral advisor at the Technion. As a postdoc I was hosted by Dr. Omer Bobrowski, also a protégé of Robert. Prior to this, I completed my Masters degree by research in Signal Processing from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (IISc.) under the guidance of Dr. Chandra Sekhar Seelamantula from the EE department. Thanks to the zealous guidance of Dr. Chandra Sekhar, I won the Hay Medal for the best M.Sc.(Engineering) thesis from IISc. My undergraduate degree was in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the College of Engineering, Trivandrum, University of Kerala.

*I am a Dumbledore fan. See this.
