Postdoc Opportunities
There are a number of post-doctoral fellowship opportunities in the UK on the competitive basis. I am happy to support strong applicants for these fellowships.
Newton International Fellowships, for non-UK scientists who are at an early stage of their research career and wish to conduct research in the UK
Research Fellowships in Science and Engineering from the Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851. Provide early-career scientists or engineers of exceptional promise an opportunity to conduct a research project of their own instigation.
Leverhume Trust Early Career Fellowship For early career researchers, with a research record but who have not yet held a full-time permanent academic post.
EUTOPIA-SIF - Post-Doctoral Fellowships, can only be hosted by EUTOPIA partner universities, including University of Warwick
Marie Curie Actions, provides a range of funding options for different career stages, duration, and context
EPSRC Postdoctoral Fellowships supports early career researchers who hold a PhD or have equivalent research experience, and who have the most potential to deliver the highest quality research.
Royal Academy of Engineering Research Fellowships provides funding for five years to encourage the best researchers to remain in the academic engineering sector.
The Branco Weiss Fellowship is designed to support postdoctoral researchers after their PhD and before their first faculty appointment.

Biography
I received the B. E. and the M. E. from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, and PhD degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, in Jan. 2008. From Dec. 2007 to Aug. 2013, I had been on various research and visiting positions with University College London, KTH Royal Institute of Technology and University of Luxembourg. From Sept. 2013 to Feb. 2016, I was with University of Essex as a Lecturer in Communications. From Mar. 2016 to Aug. 2022, I was Professor of Signal Processing and Wireless Communications with Wolfson School of Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering, Loughborough University. I am currently Professor in Connected Systems in the School of Engineering, University of Warwick, UK, and a Visiting Professor at Loughborough University.
I am the first recipient for the 2013 IEEE Signal Processing Letters Best Paper Award, and I also received the 2015 GLOBECOM Best Paper Award, and the 2018 IEEE Technical Committee on Green Communications & Computing Best Paper Award. I current serve as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Communications and IEEE Wireless Communications Letters. I was listed as a Highly-Cited Researcher by Thomson Reuters/Clarivate Analytics in 2019, and as a World Top 2% Scientist by Stanford University research (https://data.mendeley.com/datasets/btchxktzyw/2). I am a Fellow of IEEE, Fellow of IET and Fellow of Asia-Pacific Artificial Intelligence Association (AAIA).
