Identities are like kaleidoscopes; made up of many tiny pieces that come together to create unique images. Educators have the power to help students create their kaleidoscopes every day. Together, we will explore stories of identity, and we will learn how we can foster environments that give each student the opportunity to represent and feel proud of their identity.
Every day it seems like there's a new technology tool or district initiative to learn about and at the end of a long school day, it can seem overwhelming. Worse yet, when generation labels are thrust upon us, it only magnifies our self-doubt and insecurities. So how do we overcome the changing educational landscape for the benefit of our students? We come together to and build each other up and remember the technology is not the number one priority, being our best selves for our students is.
