 Hi and welcome to my most recent web site;

My name is Ed Halpaus, I'm currently the Grand Lodge Education Officer for the Grand Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Minnesota. I write articles on Freemasonry for the benefit of Masons and non-Masons alike.

I truly believe that both the initiated and the uninitiated need good accurate information on what Freemasonry is and is not, and I think the best place for everyone to get information on Freemasonry is from a knowledgeable Mason.

There are many knowledgeable Masons that can be found in local Masonic Lodges and through the web sites of the Grand Lodges throughout the world. There are also many knowledgeable Masons who have their own web sites: This web site is a work in progress,and I will be updating it as regularly as I can. One of the items I intend to include on this site are links to web sites from the Grand Lodges that have good Masonic Education materials on them, and web sites from other Masons that are also either dedicated to Masonic Education as this one is, or Masonic web sites that contain Masonic education.

Many of the Masonic Education Newsletters I write can be found on the Internet on web sites and blogs, so i will include some of them here too. My e-publications include: Masonic Matters; T.F.S. (3, 5, & 7); and Mehr Licht, or More Light.
Also a Masonic education program for my Grand Lodge, the Masonic Monday Question, is posted on 3 sites on the Internet:http://www.lodgebuilder.com/  - http://www.mn-masons.org/ - and http://halpaus.blogspot.com/  I am also currently the Executive Secretary of The Philalethes Society, which is a Masonic Research Society; while it is an international society it is the premiere Masonic Research Society in North America. In my opinion every serious Masonic student who has been initiated and is a member of a regular Grand Lodge should consider becoming a member of it. the uninitiated can subscribe to its magazine, the Philalethes. The web site for The Philalethes is: http://www.freemasonry.org/ The details for either joining or subscribing is on the site.

Take the time to tour the site and read about Freemasonry. If you have any comments, questions, or if you would like to subscribe to my e-publications please send me and email with the subject line completed for what you want at erhmasonic@gmail.com

I also have a fine recipe site with tried and true recipes for families and for Lodges; take a look at http://recipecircus.com/recipes/Leo/ you may find a recipe there you may enjoy making and serving to your family, friends, and Lodge Brothers.

Fraternal regards,
Ed
