I am an ICREA research professor at CREI (Centre de Recerca en Economia Internacional), adjunct professor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Associate Research Professor at the Barcelona School of Economics and Research Affiliate at the CEPR. I am currently an associate editor at the Economic Journal and member of the Editorial Board of the Review of Economic Studies and was formerly an editor at the Review of Economic Dynamics.

My main research topics are Macroeconomics, labor markets, search and matching, informational frictions, business cycles and economic geography.
