Service and Outreach

"We believe that the church is called to proclaim and to be a sign of the Kingdom of God… The church is to give witness by proclaiming the reign of God in word and deed." (Confession of Faith, p. 42) As followers of Jesus, we are called to find our blessing in making peace and seeking justice. (Confession of Faith, p. 81) As a community of faith we believe that we are sent into the world to serve and reach out to others. As a Mennonite church, we have a strong history as a people of peace and of serving and reaching out to others internationally, nationally, and in our local community. We recognize that we are called as individuals, as a local church, and as a broader Mennonite and Church community.
