•    10 mushrooms. Cleaned and sliced 
•    1 tsp chilli powder
•    1/2 tsp garam masala powder
•    1/4 tsp turmeric powder
•    1 tsp cumin seeds (freshly ground)
•    2 tsp of your preferred cooking oil for frying


1.    Add the mushroom slices into a pot of salted boiling water for a min. 
2.    Remove and wipe excess water from the mushrooms with tissue paper.
3.    Heat 2 tsp oil in a frying pan,saute the mushroom slices for 1 minute .
4.    Add chilli powder,turmeric powder,garam masala powder and cumin.  Mix well.
5.    Saute for 5 minutes.
6.    This dish can be served as a side with rice or simply as another selection of your foods for the meal.
