Korean Broiled Pork

Ingredients:
 
  • 120 ml (1/2 cup) soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 scallions chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper
  • 1 tbsp. sesame seeds
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1 Kg (~2 lbs.) pork tenderloin
  • 1 tbsp. peanut oil


Method:

  1. Cut pork in 0.5 cm (~1/4-in) thick slices. 
  2. Combine soy sauce, sugar, scallions, garlic, pepper, sesame seeds and ground ginger ingredients and marinate the pork in the combination for at least 1 hour at room temperature. 
  3. Place on lightly oiled roiling pan and broil 5 minutes on each side, basting with the sauce.
