Garlic Shrimps

Ingredients:
  • 450 g (1 lb) Fresh medium shrimps
  • 3 tablespoons Lime juice
  • 30 g (1 oz) Flour
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 Whole head of garlic, crushed & chopped
  • 1-2 Chilies, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

Method :

  1. (Optional) Peel shrimps, remove the heads and tails and devein.
  2. Marinate in lime juice for 30 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle flour on shrimps and mix lightly. Heat olive oil in a wok.
  4. Saute garlic over low heat until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
  5. Add shrimps. Stir fry for 1-2 minutes or until shrimps are almost cooked.
  6. Add the chilies and salt. Heat through 1-2 more minutes or until shrimps are fully cooked.
  7. For a spicier taste, crush the chilies lightly before serving.
