Curry Leaf Podi #2 (Karivepillai Podi #2)

Ingredients:
 
  • 1 Cup leaves
  • 2 dry chillies
  • 2 Tbsp peppercorns
  • 2 Tbsp urad dal
  • 2 Tbsp chana dal
  • salt
  •  1 tsp oil

Method:
  1. Dry roast* all the leaves and set aside.
  2. Dry roast the remaining ingredients.
  3. Combine with salt and grind together to a medium-fine powder.

*It is quite difficult to dry roast fresh leaves. Sun-dry the leaves for a day before roasting.
