Curried Okra and Shallot

Ingredients: 
 
  • 1 cup - shallots, peeled 
  • Okra
  • Salt
  • 1/2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin 
  • 2 tbsp - oil 

Method:
 
  1. Heat oil in a pan and temper mustard seeds and jeera.
  2. Add shallots and fry for a couple of minutes.
  3. Add chopped okra, salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder and fry till okra gets roasted.
  4. Serve with rice or roti.
