Burmese Tomato Salad


Ingredients:
  • 2 tomatoes, deseeded and sliced
  • small onion, sliced and rinsed in cold water
  • garlic and turmeric oil
  • lime juice
  • salt or fish sauce
  • sesame seeds
  • peanuts
  • toasted chickpea flour
  • chilis (optional)
  • cilantro

Method:
  1. Mix the ingredients together just prior to serving. Toss the salad with your fingers  to create a truly authentic Burmese signature dish.
