EWPA dues invoices were emailed to residents on January 2 in alignment with Article XII of our bylaws (must be sent out in January; last year, our invoices went out late). If you did not receive a dues reminder or wish it to be sent to a different email address, please contact us. Thank you in advance for promptly paying your dues.
You may have noticed, trail work is in progress at the Brae Burn trail (area shown in the image). The work includes replacing a bridge, adding railings, removing asphalt, and repairing and replacing the footpath. It should be completed by the end of January.
In addition, we have continued our tradition of hiring a third party arborist to evaluate the safety of our common areas. They look to see if there are any trees that may harm an individual or property. Following the report, the work was completed in early December.
Our primary focus this coming year is to update EWPA’s governing documents. We hope to modernize some portions of these sixty year old agreements while also either revising or reestablishing how we work with our two types of members (Class A and Class B). We will be asking those affected by these potential changes for their thoughts later this month.
Another forthcoming project is to identify and/or replace the common area boundary markers so that adjacent homeowners can clearly identify where the common area begins.
We’ve had a wonderful and productive year — many thanks to our volunteer board and to those of you who have assisted with trail cleanups and other EWPA projects. Here are some of the ways that people helped out in 2024.
Let us know if you would like to help out. :-)
