Registration For 2016-2017 GED Classes Starts Sept. 8th

        High School Equivalency Diploma Classes September 2016 — June 2017
(previously called GED test, now called TASC test) 

The School Sisters of Notre Dame Educational Center offers high school equivalency diploma classes to women who:
  • are committed to working toward their high school equivalency diploma 
  • are 19 years of age or older
  • can attend classes from 9:00 -1:30 Monday through Thursday
  • have sufficient background and reading and writing skills in English to work on the high school equivalency curriculum.

The SSND Educational Center is located at 
87-04 88th Avenue, Woodhaven, NY 11421

To register, come to the Center on Sept. 8, 9, or 13, 2016 between 9:00 a.m.—2:00 p.m. 

Classes begin on Wednesday, September 14

The Center is accessible via J train and Q56 bus along Jamaica Ave.,the Q11, Q21, Q52Ltd, Q53Ltd, QM15 along Woodhaven Blvd. and the Q24 along  Atlantic Avenue.

Students take the TASC test when they determine they are ready.

Note: On January 1, 2014, New York State replaced the GED test with the TASC—Test Assessing Secondary Completion.  TASC is the new high school equivalency diploma test.
