There is a transformation taking place today in education. Whether it is through the proliferation of technology, a different understanding of what constitutes learning, or an attempt to personalize instruction, the schooling of today's students is vastly different than our own.

How we manage this transformation will greatly impact the citizens we produce tomorrow. EdCamp YYC: Creating Collaborative Communities is a teacher driven professional development opportunity that sets out to create a space where educators can begin to tackle these numerous challenges.

By tapping into the collective wisdom of teachers in the Calgary area, teachers will leave EdCamp YYC with new connections, resources, and ways of thinking. Teachers are encouraged to come with an open mind and a willingness to share what not only works, but what doesn't work in their own practice. Please visit our Potential Session Topics page to view some of the questions that teachers have already posed and would like to explore.

If these questions resonate with you or if you have other questions you would like to explore, we encourage you to register today and be a part of building a collaborative community of Calgary educators.
