Hey guys!

Sorry I had to leave early: Marcus is sick. In class today you should have done the following things:
1. Turn in Current Event
2. Watch the movie "11th Hour"
3. Take notes on the movie, both human impact on the environment and environmental impact on humans.

Wednesday is our EQ essay test, no matter what. Remember there are 3 rules to this essay:
1. Show human impact on the environment
2. Show environmental impact on humans
3. Use content from class.

This essay could be a 4-paragraph essay and based on your various outlines you have created over the last two weeks, you should have plenty of information to use on Wednesday.

If I am absent on Tuesday as well, we will still have the essay on block, so be prepared. We will review the final exam after the test on block and you will have a work day on Friday.

Your test must be submitted before school begins on Monday for it to be counted.

Enjoy the rest of your break!

Intro Paragraphs

posted Nov 11, 2013, 9:00 AM by Odette Edbrooke

Reading your economic analyses, I'm noticing that we are still struggling with intro paragraphs. Here is some information from the University of North Carolina. Maybe this will be helpful. Although hooks and all that jazz are good, it's most important to set up your paper with ideas or the "road  map" as UNC puts it.

Happy 3-day weekend. See you tomorrow!
