Long Run

In order to observe adaptation of individuals and correlations between different concepts, a very long run of the EcoSim has been performed. We propose to follow the evolution of the system all along this run. Every Friday, we will post some information related to a new stage of the run. We expect to advance between 500 and 1000 time steps every week. With the much diverse information we will provide, it will be possible to observe the evolution of the whole system, to see what new species had emerged, to follow the evolution of some specific prey and predator species, to discover what kind of new behaviors has emerged…

At initialization we insert 12 000 preys and 5 000 predators in the world. Each prey and each predator has initially the same genome, which mean also that they have the same behavioral model. The change in the behavioral model will occur after the first births. The initial Fuzzy Cognitive Maps (FCMs) coding for their behavioral model are given here. The blues edges are for positive influences and the red edges for negative influences.
