I am Professor of Macroeconomics at the Department of Economics at Johannes Kepler University (JKU) Linz, Austria.

My research and teaching focuses on Applied Time Series Econometrics, Energy Economics, International Finance, and Monetary Economics.

Together with colleagues from the University of Innsbruck and the Liechtenstein Institute, we organize an annual Workshop in Empirical Macroeconomics. The 4th edition of the workshop will take place in Innsbruck on March 26-27, 2026 (preliminary program).
