“The Sustainability Awards really are the awards that showcase the fantastic achievements of UK industry, in embracing the sustainability challenge. The standards are increasingly high and this year UK-GBC is delighted to be working with UBM to really ensure that the story of those shortlisted entries can be told. This is not just about the winners – important as that is – this is about all of us learning from and sharing that best practice.” UK-GBC

The Sustainability Awards recognise and reward outstanding achievement in Sustainability in the built environment and are a key benchmark for achieving best practice in the sector. The 2010 awards will provide a fresh slant on green practice in construction & architecture with new categories and furthermore opportunities to shine in this competitive industry.

This year’s Sustainability Awards will see an important shift away from the traditional awards evening.  In this joint venture between the UK-GBC and Building magazine, our combined mission is to facilitate a 10 week educational, innovative awareness campaign that places a prolonged spotlight on all shortlisted sustainability pioneers and those sponsors endorsing their unique achievement.
