Brighton Energy Coop is currently working on the largest installed solar PV system in the UK at the Shoreham Port project in the South of England. "Forty of our solar panels were installed today at Shoreham Port. These are the first of our community-owned solar array at the Hove Enterprise Centre; 200 more will go on our five roofs there in the next few weeks. Together they will form the largest solar system in the county." says Brighton Energy Coop's Will Cottrell. Brighton Energy Coop are currently raising funds to install solar PV systems on four buildings in the Brighton area. To do this we invite you to join Brighton Energy Coop by buying shares. We aim to raise £200,000 – investors receive a 4% return on their investment as well as the potential for a further 30% EIS tax relief and the opportunity to kickstart further community energy projects. Click to download Brighton Energy Coop's share invitation and application form.
