General information

Course Objective:

Stability of continuous-time, single-input/single-output, linear, time-invariant control systems emphasizing frequency domain methods. Transient and steady-state behavior. Stability analysis by root locus, Bode, Nyquist, and Nichols plots.

Course load: 4 units

Prerequisites: ECE 45  comfort with Laplace transforms of common time functions, facility with transfer functions, elementary frequency response methods, comfort with MATLAB for routine calculations.
