(Ph.D in Telecommunication Engineering by the Technical University of Madrid; M.Sc. in Philosophy by the National University for Distance Education, UNED) he is currently Scholar at the University of León, Spain, National University of Santa Elena, Ecuador, and Munich University of Applied Science, Germany. Between 1997 and 2009, he was associate professor at the University Alfonso X el Sabio. In 1996, he worked as researcher at the Vienna University of Technology; between 1997 and 2002, at the Technical University of Madrid. He has been invited Professor at several universities in Germany, Austria, Sweden and Ecuador. He is board member of the International Society for Information Studies (Austria), of the Institut for Design Science (Germany), BITrum-Research Group for the interdisciplinary study of information (Spain). In addition he is fellow of the Bertalanffy Center for the Study of Systems Science (Austria), the International Center for Information Ethics (ICIE), the Unified Theory of Information-Research Group (Austria). He belongs to the editorial teams of the scientific Journals TripleC, IRIE, Systema and glossariumBITri. His research focus on the interdisciplinary study of information and communication, perception, systems and complexity.

(Doctor in Philosophy by the Universidad de Salamanca) He studied in the Ruhruniversität Bochum (Germany) and was visiting scholar in Leuven (Belgium) and Princeton (New Jersey, USA). He is professor of Logic at the University of León, Spain since 2002 and collaborates with the Institute for Logic, Cognition, Language and Information at the University of the Basque Country. He is member of the Scientific Committee of the Science of Information Institute (SoII), of the Research Group on Philosophical Logic at the Universidad de Salamanca, of the Humanities Quality Research Group at the Universidad de León, of the Unified Theory of Information Research Group (UTI), of the editorial board of the journal TripleC. His research on mathematical logic and philosophy has been published in different papers and journals.
Given the spatial dispersion of BITrum members, the design and development of special collaborative tools is essential for the Project. Moreover, it is also required for the public dissemination of BITrum on the web.
Dipl. in Biblioteconomy and Documentation by the Universidad de León and graduated in Documentation by the Universidad Carlos III (Madrid). She is in charge of the Library at the Faculty of Filosofía y Letras in the Universidad de León and currently works on her PhD. with a thesis about Evaluation of Institutional Repositories.
She has collaborated in the planification and development of the System of collaborative tools for BITrum. She administrates the contributions blog and works in the organization of the whole system of tools.
In the DomusBITae initiative she represents the team for development of a repository for communities of Information Studies.
Devoted to the coordination and review of texts within BITrum frame, either to be published on the web or through other institutional publishers. Among the tools already developed for internet publication we particularly signal: 1) BITrum Website (public and private); 2) News Channel; 3) BITrum contributions blog; 4) Glossary edition System.
This team is in charge of planning and development of publication platforms, coordination of content edition (specially concerning the Glossary), coordination of informatics and edition activities.

Doctor in Philosophy and Education Sciences by the University of Barcelona, where he has been researcher at the Departamento de Lógica, Historia y Filosofía de la Ciencia. He studied in the Istituto di Discipline della Comunicazione in the Università di Bologna and was Visiting Scholar at the Center for the Study of Language and Information (CSLI) at Stanford University. He has been docent and researcher in several universities: Complutense de Madrid, Autònoma de Barcelona, Oberta de Catalunya and he is currently at the Departament of Information Science, University of Barcelona. One of his most known works is the book: The Phenomenon of Information (Scarecrow Press, 2007, published in Spanish by Trotta).
In order to achieve integration with other international networks, special attention is granted to the English edition of texts, without relegating texts and discussion in Spanish.

(Graduated in English Philology by the University of Extremadura) she is English professor in this center since 1994, teaching in the Faculty of Sciences, the Engineering School and lately in the Faculty of Teacher Training. She is a member of the editorial team of the journal Tejuelo (on Didactics of language and literature).
She has reviewed and corrected texts both in English and Spanish within the project, the special TripleC edition and the glossary.

(Doctor in English Philology by the Universidad Complutense de Madrid) she is formerly Professor of English at the I.E.S. Ramiro de Maeztu, Madrid, and held different responsibilities in education management. Since her retirement, she makes compatible her participation in BITrum with her passions for painting and gardening.
She has reviewed and corrected translations and texts for BITrum, TripleC and BITrum Glossary.

Sc. in control & systems engineering by the Technological University of Bagdag, Iraq; Doctor Engineer, specialized in process control and artificial intelligence by the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid) he is Professor at the Technical Univerity of Madrid and the Universidad Alfonso X. Before 1997, he was docent and researcher at the University of Bagdad, and also editor of the journal Bagdad Observer (Published in English).
He has translated for the special TripleC issue the original manuscript of Pérez-Amat and also reviewed other translations by different authors. He has also collaborated in the English edition of different BITrum documents.
