A.W. Eaton
I am an Associate Professor in the Philosophy Department, with affiliations in Gender and Women's Studies Program and the Department of Art History, at the University of Illinois-ChicagoI received my PhD from The University of Chicago in both art history and philosophy jointly and previously taught at Bucknell University in beautiful rural Pennsylvania before coming back to Chicago.

I am interested in and write about many things: Italian Renaissance art, feminist critiques of pornography, the relationship between aesthetic and moral value, artifact teleology, and the metaphysics of value.  To see a list of my published work and work-in-progress, click on the links above.
