The Feature Presentation:

J.A.C.O. has just finished it's next major film and here is an inside scoop on the making of the PPPGA.

Wednesday August 22, 2007-"Online"- Ladies and Gentlemen, we bring you the newest J.A.C.O. Film, "The PPPGA Championship: A Tournament Story," Now ONLINE. Click HERE.The Blooper video is also up, so check it out HERE.

Tuesday August 14, 2007- "The Finishing Touches"- What should amount to be the last day of real work on the film, resulted in a logo and jingle for J.A.C.O. Productions, as well as some twisting of the fine tune knob to ensure the viewers cinematic adventure is as seamless and entertaining as possible. Also, the premiere of the movie was set in stone today. The Premiere will be Thursday August 16, 2007, in Douglas Hamann's basement. You can get Directions here.We hope to see you all there!

Monday August 13, 2007- "Completing the Film"- Finally, after months of hard work, editing is now complete. We're perfecting the J.A.C.O. logo for the beginning of the film. Eric Petrinowitsch, returning from his 84 day absence, saw the film for the first time today, and even helped in some of the editing. He seemed to have really liked it, as it got plenty of laughs. We have been screening the rough cut for some people, but now that the commentary has been added, it's like a totally different movie. The Premiere will either be Wed. August 15 or Thurs. Aug 16. We'll let you know as soon as possible when we decide for certain. If you have any questions just e-mail J.A.C.O. at the e-mail address, jacoproductions@gmail.com. After the premiere we'll try and get this bad boy online as soon as possible. Good times.

Sunday July 29, 2007- "Filming the Color Commentary"- Filming is now at a wrap, as we completed the color commentary. Justin Legger and West called upon the assistance of Mr. Greg Lutz and went to a church backyard and filmed our two Sports Casters. Their names were Gary McCard and David Faherty, and they put on quite a show. We only now have to insert our new footage, do some minor clean-up work, then we will be ready for our premiere. The Premiere will probably be sometime during the week of August 12. We'll keep you posted.

Monday July 9, 2007-"Finishing the Rough Film"- The first rough cut of the film is completed. It is about 40 min long without any commentary footage added. It's pretty exciting seeing the all the footage we gathered now finally put together to form a cohesive story. The film right now could be viewed as a complete picture, but in order to make it the best it can be, we are going to film the sports casting next and insert it where it's needed. Should look very cool.

Thursday June 28, 2007-"Editing Continues"- The editing process of the film is just about done. When that is completed, we'll begin the color commentary, then insert that into the picture, then completion. Very exciting, as we are now starting to see a more finished product. We will give a select few the chance to test screen the film so we can get some feedback on the film.

Wednesday June 20, 2007-"Editing Jim Green's Back Story"- First off, more praise on the back stories, this time from Justin West's Dad. We began Jim Green's back story today, and have managed to edit together some pretty funny moments. If you've ever wondered what Cameron Berner would look like if he lived on the streets, then this story will answer all of your questions. And a Pope Joke is in there as well.

Monday June 18, 2007-"Editing John Conner's Back Story"- Justin Legger edited together John Conner's back story. It's Coming along nicely and we tested the two back stories that we have to Mrs. West (Justin West's Mom). She seemed to have liked what she saw. The day started off rocky with some miscommunications between the Justin's but ended on a high note with now 2 back stories just about finished.

Thursday June 14, 2007-"Editing "The Tyger's" Back Story"- Justin Legger edited most of "The Tyger's" back story today, and it has to be one of the funniest moments in the film so far. Justin West will start on editing Jim Green's Back story and his own. The editing process has slowed down a bit due to the busy schedules of Justin Legger and West. The Plan is to edit every Monday and Wednesday, and every possible free day during the week.

Wednesday May 30, 2007-"Teaser Trailer Posted Online"- The Teaser Trailer is now online! You can see it on Justin Legger's Facebook Profile or at Google Video by clicking HERE.

Tuesday May 29, 2007-"Finishing the Teaser Trailer"- Both of the Justins, with the help of Joey Legger, finished the the teaser trailer. It's a little over a min long and just gives the audience a brief idea of what we have gotten ourselves into.

Monday May 28, 2007-"John and Gerrard's Back Story"- Both of the Justin's wanted to get their hair cuts soon, so they decided to get their character's back stories completed, so they can do that. Both were completed, and thanks to Kroger for allowing us to film in their store. Now all of the filming, besides the color commentary, is complete.

Thursday May 24, 2007-"Jim Green's Back Story"- Cameron Berner, who plays Jim Green in our story, was leaving May 25 to go live in New York for the summer, so we had to get his back story completed. Thursday afternoon Justin West and Cameron went out and filmed Cameron's back story. Now his filming, like Eric's, is complete.

Tuesday May 22, 2007-"Making a Trailer"- Justin West met with Justin Legger for a few hours to make a short trailer to put online to give the film some more exposure. It's looking pretty good, and doesn't really give any of the jokes away, but is still able to give you a pretty introductory idea of what we're doing. The Link to the trailer will be posted here when it's done.

Sunday May 20, 2007-"Filming "The Tyger's" Back Story"- Justin West and Justin Legger started a very rough first edit to get an idea of where they want this film to go and the pace they want to hit. Today was the last day Eric was able to film, so we finished filming all of his back story that will explain his character's past a little more. We created a "studio" for "The Tyger" to do his interview along with the first PPPGA logo created by Alex Marque. We then filmed "The Tyger's" other pro sport that he was involved in. Check out the production pictures to get a look at what exactly we did.

Thursday May 17, 2007-"Filming/Post-Production"-

After some early morning mix ups with Justin West and his driving situation, everyone met on the course at around 11:00. With the cast in their correct outfits, with the correct props, the project was finally ready to go. Things began with the introduction of the characters and the shooting of the first couple holes. With only one battery for the camera, filming was reduced to 15 minute intervals with a re-charging layover of about 8 minutes. This caused a somewhat slow start, as well as the cast trying to find their own grooves to bring out their own character.

Eric having some pre-determined obligations having to leave the production multiple times shortened the time frame for shooting even more, but did allow time to charge the battery as well as work on future shots. After some tension and time concerns, the day ended well with the cast really starting to bring out their characters unique personalities. The end of the day was concluded with the taking of some promotional photos to spark excitement for the upcoming movie.

Wednesday May 16, 2007-"Pre-Production"- Justin Legger and Eric Petrinowitsch call upon the assistance of Justin West and Cameron Berner to help create the next J.A.C.O. Production. The meeting was held Wednesday Night at Justin Legger's house where ideas and stories were tossed around.

It was decided that the next film should be based on a story that Justin West and others had a while back but were unable to create it. It is the story of a Pro Putt-Putt league and it's big tournament. At the Southwest Golf Ranch the team was granted permission to film there the next day.

Some more actors were recruited, story lines and scenes were created, and a meeting time was set between 10 and 11 to begin filming the next day.

Look back shortly for some more updates
