TEACHER, MENTOR, AND BLESSED FRIEND

In Memoriam

Dr.  Lee Kjelson

How small a part of time we share.....
that are so wondrous, sweet, and fair
The quality of our lives is determined by the quality of the people in our
lives....our friend, mentor, teacher and inspiration Dr. Lee Kjelson has
passed his torch on to us tonight; confident that we will continue to carry
the fire of truth that he taught us about great art....that great art allows
us to see beneath the surface to the truth, knowing that it wasn't the
reward that mattered or the recognition you might harvest. It was your
depth of commitment, your quality of service, the product of your
devotion...these were the things that counted in a life. When you gave
purely, the honor came in the giving, and that was honor enough......
