President McCartney in SF

On Tuesday, January 29, join the college  for an evening of connecting with Smithies in business. President Kathleen McCartney will start the evening with recent news from Smith and discuss the many ways Smith is encouraging innovation and supporting women's entrepreneurial ambitions. For the keynote presentation Jenn Maer, '93, will share how empathy is one of the most important tools businesses can use to solve problems and adapt to an ever-changing landscape. She'll offer real world examples from her work at IDEO, as well as tips on how to incorporate empathy into your own work.
