GET YOUR HANDS DIRTY! In Ishinomaki, Trip II: JULY 1-3rd, 2011

Tour Description: If you want to get your hands dirty and volunteer your hands and your heart, come join us and bring your friends!  Peace Boat Japan, a leader in NGO disaster relief, supported by the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ACCJ), has generously organized a special relief package tour for non-Japanese and Japanese business leaders to volunteer as a group to help disaster victims in Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture, in Tohoku.

The group departs Friday, July 1, and returns early evening Sunday, July 3rd. Peace Boat’s special package for our team can take care of all the logistics:  shinkansen tickets, chartered bus, simple accommodations, help with food arrangements, volunteer insurance, and arrangement of meaningful relief work in Ishinomaki.   English Translation will be provided.

Participants only need bring rain gear & boots and a willingness to work--everything else can be taken care of!  This group opportunity is a rare chance for active business leaders (non-Japanese and Japanese, women, men, spouses and colleagues over age 20) to understand and contribute to the relief effort in Tohoku!  They need help now! Let's do it!

Limited Space: only one bus is planned.  First come, first served!
