 Rainbow Nation Dreaming

Hopi prophesy (Native Americans; the People of Peace):

“When the earth is dying there will arise a new tribe of all colours and all creeds. This tribe will be called The Warriors of the Rainbow and it will put its faith in actions not words” [Rainbow Nation has been born; we are (you are) the ones we have been waiting for.]

The year 2012 it is important because the simultaneous conjunction of the solstice sun with the galactic center offers a potential for great spiritual transformation and rebirth.

The Galactic Alignment is the alignment of the December solstice sun with the Galactic equator. This alignment occurs as a result of the precession of the equinoxes. The Galactic equator: The precise mid-line running down the Milky Way. Analogous to the earth’s equator, it divides the galaxy into two hemispheres, or lobes.

“Heart of Sky, Heart of Earth,

give us our sign, our word

as long as there is day, as long as there is light

When it comes to sowing, the dawning,

Will it be a greening road, a greening path?”

–Popol Vuh, Sacred Mayan Text.

“We need a radically different way of relating ourselves to the support systems of the planet. My experiences with aboriginal people have convinced me, both as a scientist and as an environmentalist, of the power and relevance of their knowledge and worldview in a time of imminent global ecocastrophe.” -David Suzuki.

Empowered Evolution

“Whatever you can do or dream you can begin it.

Boldness has genius, magic and power in it.

Begin it now!” –Goethe.

The Chinese ideogram for “crisis” contains explicitly the root “opportunity”.

The Great Turning

We stand at a critical moment in earth’s history, a time when humanity must choose its future. As the world becomes increasingly interdependent and fragile, the future at once holds great peril and great promise. To move forward we must recognize that in the midst of a magnificent diversity of cultures and life forms we are one human family and one Earth community with a common destiny. We must join together to bring forth a sustainable global society founded on respect for nature, universal rights, economic justice, and a culture of peace.  –The Earth Charter (2000)

“Future generations, if there is a livable world for them, will look back at the epochal transition we are making to a life-sustaining society. And they may well call this the time of the Great Turning” -Joanna Macy.

This document contains a viable framework for Planetary Governance based on the Sovereignty of the Individual and Eco-villages/cities. It represents an evolution of the UN into a fair and representational Earth Council (Planetary Government). This work was inspired by Great Spirit and Dreamtank came up with the system design, in collaboration and with cooperation from many groups and individuals; refer acknowledgements.

Dreamtank are a group of evolutionaries:

Dreamtank is part of the communication and activist arm of Earth Council Embassy [a forerunner to a fully fledged Earth Council]. We are a Cooperative of Beings who realizes that while there has been amazing technological development, the planet is being destroyed. We cannot continue ‘business as usual’. We need to heal the Earth our Mother, ourselves and each other, and all other beings, be they plant, animal, fish or insect.

Dreamtank believe in the untapped potential of the human heart/mind and that with global collective will we can prevail. We believe in conscious evolution and nonviolent action as our principles and we hold Mahatma Gandhi to be a role model for peaceful and creative change. When enough people are inspired consciousness will be raised and the harmful things we do each day will cease.

“Be realistic. Plan for a miracle” –Osho.

Dreamtank sense a major shift in consciousness is both desirable and imminent. We seek to facilitate this change through actions of bliss, joy and celebration. Through this attitude we are not protesting but celebrating the imminent shift into a peaceful world. It will be of assistance to us, when visualizing, to “see” it as “already DONE”.

Dreamtank promotes the idea that everyone is responsible for this awakening, their own awakening and encourage the practice of inner work.

It is only by changing our inner aggressive thinking in everyday life can we hope to change that which is outside us. Sitting (meditation and/or prayer), Dreaming, Yoga (and other naturalistic healing modalities) all have much to offer us about self-management.

Religions can also offer us much healing yet we must adopt a peacefulness inside that does not feel threatened by differing religious viewpoints. A close impartial study of religion will uncover the fundamental unity between them, where peace and love are of paramount importance.

“There is no way to Peace. Peace is the way”

“Whatever is hateful to you, do not to your fellow person. That is the entire Law, all the rest is commentary’ -Judaism, the Talumud.

“Love thy neighbour as thyself. Do unto others as you would have others do unto you” -Christianity, the Bible.

Islam too aims at making all individuals peace-loving. That is why Moslems greet each other by saying “Assalam-o-Alaikum” that is, peace be upon you. And according to another saying of the Prophet, the best Islam is to greet everyone this way, whether or not you are acquainted with the person.

“This is the sum of duty; Do naught to others which would cause pain if done to you” -Hinduism.

“Consider others as yourself” -Buddhism Dhammapada.

“Harm none, do as you will” -Pagan/Wicca saying.

“How to be peace Now? By making peace with the present moment. The present moment is the field on which the game of life happens. It cannot happen anywhere else.” -Echart Tolle.

“Whether one believes in religion or not, whether one believes in this religion or that religion, the very purpose of our life is to happiness, the very motion of our life is toward happiness” -Dalai Lama.

Love Thyself

Peace and Love are Truth.

There is nothing that is religious versus something that is secular.

With love in our hearts we will ask, “What can I give?” an attitude born of a deep inner knowledge of the suffering created by a ‘User Society’ and also of the remedial alternatives that must now be applied.

We must save our planetary home for our children and our children’s children!

“Everything on the planet is interconnected and to function properly our culture, education, government and economic system must be unified, not compartmentalized, and we must recognize that every decision has environmental and health connotations. Human intelligence and inventiveness, which know no bounds in the world of technology, can be harnessed to examine our predicament and to evolve new structures to lead us away from the inevitable destruction that will result from everlasting “growth”. We speculate that these ideas and solutions will not evolve from more science and technology, but perhaps from the philosophers, the religious, the humanists or the environmentalists.” -Green or Gone by David Shearman and Gary Sauer-Thompson.

The fear that Totalitarianism will be the outcome of developing an ethical ecological model of operations is ungrounded. The framework Dreamtank have devised simultaneously protects the individual from exploitation and protects the biosphere which we are all dependent upon.

It is Corporate Totalitarianism we currently live under that needs to be questioned.

“O keep squeezing drops of sun

From yours prayers and work and music

And your companions beautiful laughter

And from the most insignificant moments of your

Own heavenly body,

Now Sweet One

Be Wise

Cast all your votes for dancing!” –Hafiz.

We are fundamentally dependent upon the systems of nature!

“The full extent of the damage is only now becoming apparent as we begin to piece together a comprehensive overview of the extremely complex, interconnected web that is our life support system.”

 -Bernard Lietaer.

The Earth is experiencing Global Eco-catastrophe right now!

“It is abundantly clear that we have not achieved a technological utopia. Instead, the planet is beset with a staggering array of problems that have been created or exacerbated by modern science and technology- from overpopulation and the mass extinction of species to global warming, to soil loss and pollution, to the proliferation of deadly weapons of mass destruction.” -David Suzuki scientist and environmentalist.

“The truth is that we never conquered the world, never understood it, we only think we have control. We do not even know why we respond a certain way to other organisms, and [we] need them in diverse ways, so deeply.” –E.O.Wilson, Entomologist and Evolutionary Biologist.

“Now we see ourselves as the products of cellular cooperation – of cells built up from other cells. Partnerships between cells once foreign and even enemies to each other are at the very root of our being” -Lynn Margulis, Evolutionary Biologist.

The following public “Warning to humanity” was unanimously agreed by 1,600 scientists, including the majority of living Nobel Prize winners in the sciences: “A great change in the stewardship of the Earth and the life on it is required if vast human misery is to be avoided and our global home on this planet is not to be irretrievably mutilated… If not checked, many of our current practices may so put at serious risk the future that we wish for human society and the plant and animal kingdoms, and may so alter the living world, that it will be unable to sustain life in the manner that we know. Fundamental changes are urgent if we are to avoid the collision our present course will bring about.”

The Earth, so far as we know, is the birthplace of our species and our only home. We are close to committing – in fact many would argue that we have already committed – what in our language, could justifiably be termed “Crimes against Creation!”

“Consumer confidence is actually considered a measure of a country’s relative economic strength. When a load of poor deluded sad-acts are down at the shops running up debts on their credit cards, finance ministers claim the economy is ‘growing’ and start celebrating. Recessions are deemed to be over the moment people start spending money which they don’t have on things they don’t need. Consumption is synonymous with ‘growth’ and growth is always good. It is always good, whenever and wherever. Hence, clearly consumption is good, all consumption, anywhere, anytime. Judged by the logic of world economics, the death of the planet will be the zenith of human achievement, because if consumption is always good, then to consume a whole planet must be the best thing of all” – Ben Elton.

85% of all insurance payments worldwide now go towards compensating for “natural disasters”. A combination of deforestation and climate change is blamed for these problems. We are in the process of losing 30%-70% of the planets biodiversity within a time span of only 20-30 years.

We are all now endangered species!

“Our global society lacks the institutions and mechanisms necessary for its preservation, but there is no political will to bring them into existence. I blame the prevailing attitude, which holds that the unhampered pursuit of self-interest will bring about an eventual international equilibrium. I believe this confidence is misplaced.” -George Soros who made billions of dollars in the world’s currency markets concluded.

“It has been interesting to watch the election processes in recent years in democratic countries like Japan, United States, Spain and Australia… In all these elections there has been little of relevance said about the major threats we face and the future of the human race. Each election is concerned with ideology, with rhetoric of greed, with cutting up the cake and who is to get most, and with the performance of each country as it competes with others. The overwhelming considerations are economic.” -Green or Gone by David Shearman with Gary Saucer-Thompson.

“Those of us who inhabit the affluent world bear the greatest responsibility for refashioning the ways in which we live. As individuals we consume much more than we need and pollute more. Therefore we have the greatest scope for decreasing our consumption and sharing our resources, knowledge and skills with the less well-off in the world…But so long as the power-brokers make it difficult for the majority to change, change is only likely to come when this power system is replaced.” -Bernard Leitaer.

“The human species has reached a defining moment of choice between moving ahead on a path to collective self-destruction or joining together in a cooperative effort to navigate a dramatic turn to a new human era. The profound cultural and institutional transformation that is needed goes up against the short-term interests of the world’s most powerful people and institutions. The barriers to what we humans must now achieve are daunting. By any rational calculation, the needed transformation is not politically feasible. Yet it is essential to human survival and prosperity, which means we must set ourselves to the task of figuring out how to make the impossible into the inevitable.” -David Korten.

“The future is not some place we are going to, but one we are creating. The paths are not to be found but made, and the activity of making them changes, both the maker and the destination.” -John Schaer.

“History is governed by those overarching movements that give shape and meaning to life by relating the human venture to the larger destines of the universe. Creating such a movement might be called the Great Work of a people… The historical mission of our times is to reinvent the human – at the species level, with critical reflection, within the community of life-systems.” -Thomas Berry

“Reduce, Reuse and Recycle”

Over the span of the 20 year transitional period as the Solstice Sun crosses the Galactic Equator and moves in to a new hemisphere, we will indeed witness the falling away of the old structures and the birthing of the new. For those who have eyes to see we are actually witnessing the birth of a Planetary Civilization. And the very logistics involved in this process will determine that the old values of the Nation States which was primarily based on competition and exploitation will have to eventually give way to a collaborative effort, where universal cooperation and respect will be the dominate social values.

In times of extraordinary change, it is no failure to fall short of realizing all we might dream,

the failure is to fall short of dreaming all we might realize.

Without a vision we are without hope, yet there is a cohesive dreaming happening right now…

[People who say it cannot be done should not interrupt those who are doing it]

   Then they ridicule you,

Then they attack you,

Then you win” - Mahatma Gandhi.

The Age of Purification begins:

“When a great innovation appears, it will almost certainly be in a muddled, incomplete, and confusing form. For any speculation which does not at first glance look crazy, there is no hope” -Freeman Dyson.

Earth Council ethos is based an interpretation of Australian Aboriginal ethos regarding the proper relationship between human and human, and humans and other life forms:

1. Balance: A system cannot be life enhancing if it is out of kilter, and each part shares in the responsibility of sustaining itself and balancing others.

2. Response: Communication is reciprocal. There is here a moral obligation to pay attention, to learn, to understand, to respond [and thence, in turn to teach].

3. Symmetry: In opposing and balancing each other, parts must be equivalent because the purpose is not to “win” or dominate, but to equalize thereby producing further balance.

4. Autonomy: No species, no group, nor any country is “boss” for another; each adheres to its own Law.

(Deborah Bird Rose, an American ethnographer who has lived intimately with Yarralin people (NT;Australia) and sensitively chronicled some of their perspectives on nature made the above interpretation).

Inter-dependence may be necessary both within and between parts.

**re; the world map is presented this way so people take a fresh look at the planet. And also to dispel an undue emphasis on northern hemisphere countries. A reverse look helps rebalance this.

The basic structure is the complete reversal of the pyramid. Now we have a downward pointing triangle (symbol of the goddess). So instead of having one person, or group at the top, everyone is Sovereign. This design was also influenced by Northeastern North America: Iroquois Confederacy. Basically and truly all First Nation People had and have a good understanding of the Universal Law; live and let live.

Business uses upward pointing triangle (refer policy 2) and Government the downward. And the marrying of the two triangles creates the Star of David [which is also a two dimensional representation of the Merkabar; body of light; the marriage of the masculine and feminine principles.]

Excerpt from Vandana Shiva:

All this is talked about in the language that Gandhi left us as a legacy. We work with three key concepts.

1.     Swadeshi; which means the capacity to do your own thing- produce your own food, produce your own goods.

2.     Swaraj; to govern yourself. And there are three main fronts-water, food and seed. Jal Swaraj is water independence-water freedom and water sovereignty. Anna Swaraj is food freedom, food sovereignty. And Bija Swaraj is seed freedom and seed sovereignty. Swa means self- that which rises from the self and is very, very much a deep notion of freedom. I believe that these concepts, which are deep, deep, deep in Indian civilization, Gandhi resurrected them to fight for freedom. They are very important for today’s world because so far what we’ve had is centralized state rule, giving way now to centralized corporate control, and we need a third alternate.

The third alternate is, in part, citizens being able to tell their state. “This is what your function is. This is what your obligations are”, and being able to have there states act on corporations to say, “This is something you cannot do”.

3.     Satyagraha; non-cooperation, basically saying, “We will do our thing and any law that tries to say that (our freedom) is illegal… we will not cooperate with it. We will defend our freedoms to have access to water, access to seed, access to food, access to medicine.”

Community democracy: Every Sovereign Being gets the opportunity to vote on every issue pertaining their Ecoregion and Ecovillage. We have the technology for this. Adhering to Lateral Autonomous Governance Systems; may be visualized as the = sign. Here all specialist ‘Cells’ apply their wisdom to a lateral decision making process until consensus is reached. A ‘Wisdom Council’ may consist of one member from each or any ‘Cell’. This system will be used for day to day living inside eco-villages.

“Simply the agenda is scale down, slow down, democratize and decentralize.”

Dianne and Robert Gilman (in Eco-villages and Sustainable Communities, IN CONTEXT INSTITUE 1991) defined an eco-village as:  “A human scale, full-featured settlement in which human activities are harmlessly integrated into the natural world in a way that is supportive of healthy human development and can be successfully continued into the indefinite future.”

Urban ecology and Ecovillages will utilize solar energy (and other renewable and sustainable energies), conserve energy and water and use grey water. Biodegradable materials, local production of foods from solar greenhouses with composting, locally managed sewerage recycling schemes and local production of goods and services will be characteristic of these intelligent communities. Like the health of our seas and farmlands, the change in development and maintenance of our cities and rural lifestyle will depend upon a reform of our collective philosophy and economic systems.

While some Ecovillages may choose to practice exclusivity it will be the communities who are inclusive that will be dominant in numerical number. Groups who exclude others because of ethnic, religious or more subtle influences are not true communities.

At the (Environmental) Earth Summit in Rio in 1992, world leaders expressed a commitment to programs that will move humanity to sustainability in the 21st century. The Global Ecovillage Network relates directly to this commitment; it is a toll for implementing Agenda 21 on the ground. Common to all the projects in the network is their focus on education and the desire to integrate ecology, spirituality, community and business development. Each of the projects may function as an Ecovillage training centre for the area.

The GEN “seed group”, which was quite diverse in make-up, history, and state of evolution, consisted of the following: Findhorn Community, Scotland; The farm USA; Lebensgarten, Germany; Crystal Waters, Australia; Ecoville, St.Peterburg, Russia; Gyurufu, Hungary; The Ladakh Project, India; The Manitou Institute, USA; and the Danish Ecovillage Association, Denmark.

The First Earth Council:

The first full fledged Earth Council (and subsequent Earth Councils) will be from the 24 delegates who have been appointed first to an Ecovillage Council, then an Ecoregional Council, then a National Council until nominated to Earth Council by their peers from one of the twelve Bioregional Councils. All members must pledge allegiance to a Living Earth [pledge devised by Emerald Forest].

No member or their families may profit financially directly or indirectly from sitting on the council. Council will sit for five years between elections. Housing, food, education and health provided for life of each sitting member.

“When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace” Jimi Hendrix

Love is to be understood by council members to be of greater significance than ideological debate. E.g. arguments and discourse on differing religious view points.

A social order inspired and directly guided by altruistically minded leaders of divine insight and training in the science of right government, transcendent over racial, national, religious and traditional limitations, and ever striving for federation rather than dismemberment of the world. So while our differences are acknowledged without judgment, it is our similarities that will be celebrated. It is to be noted here that diversity is totally indispensable to functioning of the whole.

“… all things in existence, from microbes to human beings to galaxies, are not really separate things or entities, but form part of a web of interconnected multidimensional processes” (Echart Tolle)

“The iron in our blood comes from supernovas”, says astrophysicist Andrew Macfadyen. “There is a direct connection between stars and us”.

The Roman philosopher Tacitus rightly observed that “the desire for safety stands against every great and noble enterprise.”

“Let me not pray to be sheltered from dangers, but to be fearless in facing them” -Rabindranath Tagore.

There will be an Earth Council Embassy created and it will be a celebration and facilitation of a positive shift into higher consciousness.  We simply can and will get to consciously make the transition so we have a positive outcome. Belief is important, as we think, we create. Your belief in the possibility assists in the shift. Your belief in the impossibility works against. It is the collective consciousness that must rise.

“Because of the interconnectedness of all minds, affirming a positive vision may be about the most sophisticated action any one of us can take” Willis Harman.

“The great arises out of small things that are honoured and cared for. Everybody’s life really consists of small things. Greatness is a mental abstraction and favourite fantasy of the ego. The paradox is the foundation for greatness is honouring the small things of the present moment instead of pursuing the idea of greatness. The present moment is always small in the sense that it is always simple, but concealed within it lies great power” -Echart Tolle.

The Butterfly Metaphor: The Biology of the metamorphosis of the caterpillar. [Bernard Lietaer]

When the caterpillar starts its metamorphosis, special cells – called imaginal cells – literally dissolve from within the body of the caterpillar into an amorphous – looking liquid. Then these imaginal cells start interconnecting with each other, building new networks, and they end up restructuring the whole into a miracle of the butterfly.

Modern civilization has now entered the dissolution phase, and the imaginal cells have started interconnecting outside the traditional communication channels by using the cybersphere (internet and telepathy). Sustainable abundance is the butterfly.

Sustainable Abundance: defined as the characteristic of a society that satisfies its needs without diminishing the prospects of future generations, while simultaneously providing freedom of choice and creativity to as many people as possible.

The planet itself is sustainable. The open question is whether it will include us.

01 # Dismantling of the military industrial complex, based primarily in the US, UK, Russia, China and France with some “smaller market share in death and planetary destruction” going to the rest of Europe, Australia, India, Asia, Africa and the Middle-east (and others). We wish to divert scientific production away from smart bombs etc towards eco-friendly technology and ways to help heal the earth.

“There is only one perpetrator of evil on the planet: human unconsciousness. That realisation is true forgiveness. With forgiveness, your victim identity dissolves, and your true power emerges- the power of presence. Instead of blaming the darkness, you bring in the light.” –Echart Tolle.

“What is hate? It is a black abyss full of fire hotter than dragon’s breath. It is a poison that burns a thousand times as painful as kirax. It is black and bitter bile that gathers at the center of one’s being, seething to a boil. It is a stabbing pain in the heart, a pressure in the head, gathering in all the world’s anguish and an overwhelming desire to make another suffer as you have. It is lightning. But not a thunderbolt of illumination, but rather it’s opposite which maims and burns and blinds.” –The Lightstone by

“Anger has no other function, no other purpose, than destroying us. So by realizing this fact, we should resolve that we will never give an opportunity for this enemy, hatred, to arise within us.” –Dalai Lama.

We promote the idea of unified exploration of space and the immediate demilitarization of such spacecraft. (Refer policy 12; U.E.S)

Dreamtank recognizes dismantling the war machine will take quite a number of years. Our best hope is to see how the war system has been constructed, and then to undertake the task of dismantling and recycling it piece by piece.

Dreamtank finds it very sad that one of the primary exports and industry of the five veto powers in the UN is war.

Dreamtank understands the issue of Jerusalem (and other Israel based issues) to be the most acute (among many pressing issues). We find it ironic that the very word Jerusalem is based on Urusalim meaning “city of peace”.

One day soon it will be so. It will be voted at an Earth Council Summit that New Jerusalem is to be made into an international city shared by Jews, Moslems and Christians with security provided by Buddhist and Hindu cultures. There will be some very definite concessions made by the Israelis in the interest of local and global peace.

In is here we note that “Western Imperialists” or more accurately Multi-National Corporations no longer need to invade other countries to access their resources (with the exception of Iraq). Burma for instance, and many African and South American countries (and others), are literally being stripped of their natural assets, supported by local Military Junta’s which are armed by usually Western powers. And the local population is not benefiting at all, one could even say they are being harmed in the process.

“Now I think we must strengthen the genuine force of peace. Real peace – not just the absence of war. Mere absence of war can be produced by weapons – like the nuclear deterrent. But the mere absence of war is not genuine, lasting world peace. Peace must develop on mutual trust. And since weapons are the greatest obstacle for development of mutual trust, I think the time has come to figure out how to get rid of these weapons. That is very important. Of course, we cannot achieve this overnight. I think the realistic way is step by step. But anyway, I think we must make our ultimate goal very clear: The world should be demilitarized. So, on one level we should be working toward developing inner peace, but at the same time it’s very important to work towards external disarmament and peace as well. Making a small contribution in whatever way we can. That is our responsibility.” –Dalai Lama.

02[a] # Dismantling of harmful “multi-nationals” controlled by a few who have shown a complete and utter disregard for human life and planetary health. Those organizations deemed to be in the interests of planetary health will be put in the hands of the many. Because the media is a propaganda tool of the elite few, we recommend these be the first multi-nationals dismantled. Journalist freedoms will be re-established and ownership and control placed in the hands of the many. We humans are in ignorance of our true position on the planet and desperately need impartial and truthful comment on our televisions and in our press.

Clearly our thinking is greatly manipulated. The psychology of consumerism makes up nearly 100% of all information received by the average industrialized person. Our televisions and newspapers are controlled by a handful of powerful individuals. These media barons unduly influence our governments. People who believe consumerism is endangering the environment and that the environment is has finite limits will and do experience difficulty in getting their ideas promulgated by this information system, because what they are saying is not in the media owners interest.

Dreamtank promotes free press groups and companies like Common Dreams:

The manipulation and control by multi-national corporations at the expense of the planet and people will seize. Dreamtank identifies this issue as fundamental to the survival of our species (and countless others).

We will regain control of our destiny.

A scenario we may wish to avoid is where the seven biggest multi-nationals rule the world.

-       Of the richest 100 economies, 51 are now corporations.

-       American corporations pay less in tax than they receive in public subsides.

-       In 1995, US Supreme Court rules that color may be registered as a trademark.

The increasing internationalization of industry means that jobs will go where labour is cheapest and there is least regard for health and environmental issues.

The world already belongs to the global corporation. The nation state is now desperately sick. As corporations gain in autonomous institutional power and become more detached from people and place, the human interest and the corporate interests increasingly diverge.

An example of corporate crime is the actions by the Ok Tedi mining venture in Papua New Guinea. Ralph Nader and many others view this as “the biggest single mining devastation of the environment in the world.” Slater and Gordon in 1994 filed a four billion law suit on behalf of the Fly and Ok Tedi River communities, against BHP (a 60% owner of the mine).  Basically waste was dumped direct into the river at a rate of 80000 tonnes a day in a practice that would never have been allowed in a “first world country”. BHP argues with the impeccable logic of the economic rationalist that all of their actions do make sense from the perspective of profit maximization. They have done nothing wrong- they are merely following the inner logic of a transnational corporation. They are good economic agents. They are profitable. In terms of the health and preservation of human communities and the environment, however, their actions are appalling. (Paraphrased from Green or Gone)

“Current Corporations are sociopathic institutional forms. We need to make community-based economies the norm, and create public consensus that predatory economic behaviour now taken for granted as “just human nature” is actually aberrant and immoral. Responsible citizenship may then become the expected business norm. There will always be a need, however, for rules and governmental oversight to deal with what hopefully will be a declining number of sociopathic individuals and institutions who seek profit at the public expense.”  -David Korten.

Basically the present economic system is ecologically unsustainable and is responsible indirectly or directly for the environmental perils our wounded planet now faces.

It is to be noted that humans are a creation of the divine and we then created an entity called  ‘Corporation’ with the prime and only directive of selfish greed, as a motivating force. A corporation need not be inherently damaging if the right programming is entered.

Therefore only healthy corporations; ones that help heal or are neutral in their impact will exist.

It is important to understand that Dreamtank do not blame or have hatred towards corporations. We acknowledge that Beings (people) are co-responsible.

Resource movements will be localized with the view that each Ecoregion be as self sustaining as possible. Some trade will happen between neighboring Ecoregions but the global trade of resources will be limited to those of necessity. (For instance jam from France will not travel to Australia. The chef or recipe may travel)

“The harsh reality is that the post-industrial global economy does not need- and therefore cannot and will not provide jobs for the six billion people on the planet today, not to speak of the eight billion forecast for 2019.

The extent to which the writing is on the wall can be comprehended from statistics quoted by William Greider; the world’s 500 largest corporations have managed to increase their production and sales by 700% over the last 20 years while at the same time reducing their total work force.” Bernard Lietaer.

A twenty hour working week- is enough to produce all necessary goods and services in our society.

“Eco-identification with things creates attachment to things, obsession with things, which in turn creates our consumer society and economic structures where the only measure of progress in always more. The unchecked striving for more, for endless growth, is a dysfunction and a disease. It is the same dysfunction the cancerous cells manifests, whose only goal is to multiply itself, unaware that it is bringing about its own destruction by destroying the organism of which it is part. Some economists are so attached to the notion of growth that they refer to a recession as a time of ‘negative growth’.” –Echart Tolle.

It is foreseen that many new intelligent industries will develop and there will be more than enough meaningful work for everyone. Bio-regional purification and regeneration (planetary repair) being the first and fundamental “investment” in our children and our children’s children.

Earth Council will also facilitate huge investments in renewable and sustainable energy. There will be much work in organic food production, and the production of all goods and services in an ethical way [i.e. no harm to planet]. There will be a huge growth in “intelligent” industry [i.e. neutral or positive impact businesses].

Ecologically sustainable societies will be steady state, zero-growth systems using renewable energy, practicing recycling and with a high degree of local self-sufficiency, and community values would be encouraged to flourish in place of the religions of consumerism and materialism.

“In January (2005), a trinity of announcements sealed the mood. First, British scientist James Lovelock, who invented the instrument that allowed us to detect our eroding ozone layer, published an essay predicting that we’d already added too much CO2 to the atmosphere and that runaway global warming was inevitable. He predicted billions would die this century. The steady and long serving NASA climatologist James Hansen defied federal attempts to gag him and told reporters that new calculations about, among other things, the instability of Greenland’s ice shelf showed “we can’t let it go on another ten years like this.”  If we did? Over time, the buildup of CO2 emissions would “imply changes that constitute practically a different planet.” Less than ten years to reverse course. Not our kids’ lifetime, or our grandkids’. Ours.” -Bill McKibben “A Deeper Shade of Green”.

China, Europe, U.S and India are by far the biggest users of coal, however, Russia and others (including Australia who has one of the biggest uses per capita) are also burning up what amounts to the health and survival of future generations. The use of coal is currently only set to increase, with absolutely no “real” policies set to decrease consumption of this unrenewable and exceedingly dirty form of pollution. There are cosmetic attempts by industry to downplay just how big an issue this is.

Unfortunately burying our head in the sand does not constitute a solution which the current business and political leaders seem to espouse.

The idea that nuclear is somehow better is like choosing between decapitation and a firing squad. Each is equally deadly.

The only reasonable and agreed upon solution by experts in the field are clear. Decreased consumption of energy coupled with clean energy production.

It is not just about clean energy but about using less! It is simple. Yet somehow we are making it a complicated thing.

“Eventually I came to realize that conventional economic growth indicators rarely measure growth in human prosperity. Rather, they measure the rate at which the rich are expropriating the living resources of the planet and converting them to products destined for a garbage dump after a brief useful life. The process generates profits for people who already have far more money than they need while displacing people from the resources they need for their modest livelihoods. In summary, the primary business of the global financial system and the corporations that serve it is to increase the wealth gap. It works well in the short-term for the privileged few, but is disastrous for the society.” -David Korten.

02[b] # Patents currently held by all National Patent Bureaucracies’ to be voided. All intelligent technologies that are currently not being utilised because of a conspiracy by current businesses to suppress them will be made available to the Peoples of the Earth. E.g. Zero point technology, Water fueled cars, light globes that never need replacing etc, etc, etc.

03[a] # Personal wealth will be limited to the equivalent of US $5 million. Any excess filters to all employees and then into community projects.

“The inequities in the existing order may need to be frozen like assets during times of war until we can get the flow to move in a way which has some natural grace and dignity” –Emerald Forest.

Sir Josiah Stamp of the Bank of England said early last century: “Banking was conceived in iniquity and born in sin… Bankers own the Earth. Take it away from them but leave them the power to create money and, with a flick of the pen, they will create enough money to buy it back again… Take this great power away from them and all the great fortunes like mine will disappear, and they need to disappear, for then this would be a better and far happier world to live in… but if you want to continue to be slaves of the Banker and pay the cost of your own slavery, then continue to let Bankers create money and control credit.”

500 richest people have more wealth than half the world.

The top 3 multi-billionaires have more wealth than the COMBINED GDP of the

48 poorest countries in the world.

1/6 of the world’s wealth is estimated to be in tax havens.

John F. Kennedy remarked “Those who make a peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable”.

Dreamtank promotes conscious evolution not violent revolution.

After lengthy debate Dreamtank promotes the system of a controlled market economy (i.e. limit on personal wealth) over communism and centralized power. This is so people can remain in control and power is de-centralized.

Most importantly perhaps, there will be no individuals worth $90 billion while 50% of the world cannot get a clean drink of water or eat every day!

Excerpts from “The future of money” by Bernard Lietaer (Creating New Wealth, Work, and a Wiser World)

What is money? A belief about a belief that it is valuable.

From gold to paper to binary bits in computers belonging to our bankers, brokers, and other financial institutions and there is now serious talk that all of it may soon join the virtual world. Should we wait until the last paper or plastic bill has disappeared into a cyber-purse to wake to the true non-material nature of money?

“Money has evolved from shells to green paper to the artful arrangement of binary digits” Deeltock, Chairman, VISA.

In 1944 the Bretton Woods Agreement was where 45 countries signed to fix their currencies to the US. And in 1971 the US ceased to define the dollar in terms of gold. Since that time, the dollar has represented a promise from the US government to redeem the dollar with- another dollar. At least when the dollar was backed with gold, we could more easily believe it had some objective value.

In brief, the game of money, exactly like the ancient Greek oracles, is a confidence game.

If I think someone on the otherside of the world has stopped believing in the Mexican Peso, the Thailand Baht, or the Russian Rouble, then I have fear that his neighbours may stop believing. As a result the whole house of cards may fall down, as it did for Mexico in 1994, Thailand in 1997 and Russia in 1998.

“Basically you cannot eat money. It was a worthless “thing” representing something else. Now of course it represents nothing and is simply plastic or paper.” -Dreamtank

The simple question, “Where does money come from? Propels us back into the world of magic. Not only does money perform the act of disappearing and reappearing, it is also, quite literally, created out of nothing.

Where did money come from? One of the first recorded manifestations of money was “Shehel” from the Sumerians who used it to represent a bushel of wheat. The coin was then used to visit priestesses (sacred prostitutes) at festival times.

The secret of creating money is being able to persuade people to accept one’s I.O.U’s (a promise to pay in the future) as a medium of exchange.

First the priests and priestesses issued money, then Kings and Queens and now Nation states. The first magicians trick concerning money is to make us believe that we need the magicians help to create money. This is definitely not the case, unless we choose to take sleight of hand for reality.

Money is an agreement, within a community, to use something as a means of payment.

Nationalism, competition, endless growth and colonization were encouraged. These values are what shaped the monetary and banking systems we inherited.

Interest: Here again, we believe that interest on money is somehow intrinsic to the process, forgetting that for most of history that was definitely was not the case. In fact, all three “religions of the Book” (Judaism, Christianity and Islam) emphatically outlawed usury, defines as interest on money.

“Two of the main engines for the current world economy are the global casino: “speculative” trading (i.e. trading whose sole purpose is to make profit from changes in the value of the currencies themselves and the “Futures” market (i.e. where goods and services not even yet created are traded as resources.)” –Dreamtank.

A global meeting of 2,800 economists unanimously agreed on the following opinion: “Global climate change is a real and pressing danger”.

All these exhortations invariably seem to hit a brick wall whenever serious financial interests are involved. Financial markets focus on the next quarter’s result.

Over the last decade, we have seen the official global money system take unparalleled power, beyond the control of any authority, national or international. [End excerpts from Bernard Lietaer.]

“Riches are like manure” she said.

“Riches are like manure? That doesn’t sound so wise to me” he said.

“But riches are like manure, for it stinks when in a heap, but spread about it makes everything fruitful”

03[b] # Creation of a Global Reference Currency [The Terra Unit]. Creating equalization of the global monetary system, sustainability and abundance. Bottomline question? How can we resolve the conflict between short-term financial interest and long-term sustainability?

“In essence, money is lifeblood flowing through ourselves, our society, and our human community and should be acknowledged and treated consciously.” -Bernard Lietaer.

We need a complete reform of our educational and economic structures if we are to avoid “Global Suicide”. It does not matter how much money you have if there is not an eco-system in place from which you can source air, water and food.

“You will see that conventional national currencies and monetary systems are programmed to produce competition and to remain scarce… However, you may want to consider using a cooperation-inducing currency to interact with your neighbors, take care of your elderly, or broaden the learning horizons of your children.” -Bernard Leitaer.

Complementary currencies have already proved they can work. Frequent Flyers points and the LETS system are well known examples.

However, the most advanced system in place exists in rural Thailand with a fully fledged community currency called Bia Kud Chum successfully in operation. It was created through funding from the Japan Foundation Asia Centre and with collaboration from the Local Development Institute, Thai Volunteer Service, Focus on the Global South and the Spirit in Education Movement. It also had cooperation and cross-fertilization of Dutch, Canadian and Mexican complementary currency expertise. The Bia Kud Chum symbolizes the rising sophistication and globalization of the complementary currency movement. Noted social activist and founder of the Spirit in Education Movement, Sulak Sivaraksa, stated; “Wealth does not mean that one owns many cars. True wealth is community stability. Consumerism, which has trapped villagers in never-ending debt cycle, is destroying this stability. The answer, asserted Mr. Sulak, lies in greater self-reliance”.

The Japanese Healthcare currency is also worthy of being noted. Basically, volunteer care for the elderly is credited to your time account which you can use at a later date or transfer to anyone you wish (maybe your parents), anywhere in Japan. Care receivers have stated the quality of care via this system to be superior to the normal for-money care.

A town Curitiba [Brazil] was recognized in 1992 by the United Nations as the world’s model ecological town after a community currency funded a massive clean up operation.

Community currencies keep money in the community of origin, thereby assisting local development. And projects like examples below become possible;

*300-year nature restoration period for the Southern Himalayan watershed.

*500-year reforestation project of the Sub-Sahara desert.

Sustainable abundance: sustainability and abundance can be synergistic.

From a Taoist viewpoint all is about balance. Synergy becomes available when we cease to oppose polarities. We assume Yin-Yang to represent opposites; black or white, cold or warm, night or day, female or male etc. Our normal interpretation is that black excludes white, cold excludes warm, etc. Taoists see Yin-Yang as connected to each other, as necessary components to make the whole possible. The difference is world view is subtle, but critical.

“Every explicit duality is an implicit unity” Alan Watts

Excerpts from David Korten:

By our measures of financial capital, we humans are on a path to limitless prosperity. By the measures of living capital, we are on a suicidal path to increasing deprivation and ultimate self-extinction.

1. Turn from money to life as the defining value, from growing financial capital to growing living capital,      and from short-term to long-term investing;

2. Shift the priority from advancing the private interests of the few to advancing the individual and community interests of all; and

3. Reallocate resources from supporting institutions of domination to meeting the needs of the people, community, and nature.

Consider these elements of a life-serving prosperity story that looks to life, rather than money, as the true measure of wealth.

1. Healthy children, families, communities, and ecological systems are the true measure of wealth.

2. Mutual caring and support are the primary currency of healthy families and communities, and community is the key to economic security.

3. Real wealth is created by investing in the human capital of productive people, the social capital of caring relationships, and the natural capital of healthy ecosystems.

4. The end of poverty and the healing of the environment will come from reallocating material resources from rich to poor and from life-destructive to life-nurturing uses.

5. Markets have a vital role, but democratically accountable governments must secure community interests by assuring that everyone plays by basic rules that internalize costs, maintain equity, and favor human-scale local businesses that honor community values and serve community needs.

6. Economies must serve and be accountable to people, not the reverse. [End excerpt]

The inequity between different Nations currency sets a stage for systemic inequality between the Peoples of Earth. There will be local currencies running concurrently with the Terra Unit.

At some point in future we will not need money at all. Meanwhile we will need transitional money systems, which can be used as crutches to re-educate atrophied collective behaviour patterns.

Community Capital is health, equity and care for the environment.

04 # Massive health and educational initiatives worldwide. The intention is that each being gets clean water and enough food to live. It is to be noted that as sovereign beings do not have to depend on their children to look after them in old age, people naturally have less children. (Just like in “first-world countries where the birth rate is actually in decline).

It is not about impoverishing ourselves for others but realizing where we are impoverished. And the paradox is in giving and sharing we will feel so much better.

E.g. Africa will head into a bright future:

The cost of perpetual aid to or military intervention in Africa is thousands of times more expensive than solving health problems and supporting local development, thereby heading off conflict. Conflict in Africa is over resources. People fight when there is no other choice. As for Africa’s health problems, they can be greatly alleviated with right planning and funding. Of course Africa isn’t a place; its’ a million places. Its landscapes are more diverse than those of any other continent. [Of course Africa is not the only place affected by poverty.]

“The physical needs for food, water, shelter, clothing and basic comforts could easily be met for all humans on the planet, were it not for the imbalance of resources created by the insane and rapacious need for more, the greed of the ego. It finds collective expression in the economic structures of this world, such as large corporations, which are egoic entities that compete with each other for more. Their only blind aim is profit. They pursue that aim with absolute ruthlessness. Nature, animals, people, even their own employees, are no more than digits on a balance sheet, lifeless objects to be used, then discarded.” Echart Tolle.

Conventional economic growth indicators rarely measure growth in human prosperity. G.N.H. (Gross National Happiness) would be a better indicator of human prosperity than simply economic factors.

“Equalizing economic power and rooting it locally shifts power to people and community from distant financial markets, global corporations, and national governments. It serves to shift rewards from economic predators to economic producers, strengthens community, encourages individual responsibility, and allows for greater expression of individual choice and creativity.” -David Korten.

05 # Adoption of De-population strategies that are incentive based. By not having children people may gain benefits such as extra food, health care and travel. There is enough food for all being produced currently but it is neither distributed evenly nor sustainable using current methods.

Therefore depopulation strategies in conjunction with sustainable food production are of paramount importance.

06 # Formation of Earth Council Workers (from all nations): to assess, direct and implement bio-regional purification and regeneration. Earth Council will assist this mission by providing the resources necessary to make planetary rehabilitation self manifesting.

Greenpeace, Friends of the Earth, Amnesty International, Doctors without Borders, (and many other NGO’s) are forerunner organizations leading by the example of their work (for the Earth and its Peoples). All activist groups working for these ends are considered by Dreamtank in this light. This includes all Indigenous Peoples who are currently doing the work of spiritual caretakers of their territories.

07 # Re-adoption of a worldwide hemp industry: for paper, textile and other uses, and the complete cessation of the logging of old growth forest. All wood needs are to be sourced from ecologically grown timber. There will also be a massive decrease use of cotton, as this industry uses vast amounts of water, pesticides and herbicides. Hemp is clearly a much better choice. It grows with little water and needs no chemical treatment.

The saving of what remains of the Amazon will be a fundamental global symbol of the collective human will to save our planetary home.

(Other global symbols include The Artic, Antarctic, Greenland, The Great Barrier Reef, the African Savannah and the South Sea Islands to mention a few.)

The current estimates of extinction rates of all biodiversity on earth now range between 30-70% over the next twenty years. What this figure does not take into consideration is that some of the earth’s biodiversity has not even been discovered, yet it is threatened with extinction.

08 # Adoption of the thirteen month Lunar Calendar. The present 12 month calendar is the current world standard because of the forceful issuance of this system on conquered (indigenous) peoples. It is the product of its predecessors - Julius and Augustus Caesar’s calendar and the earlier “calends” (schedule of taxation) of the Roman Empire.

Guarding the power of a patriarchal priesthood and a neo-feudal financial system, this system programs us- through adherence to its systematic disharmony- to perpetuate a lifestyle of “time is money”, consumption over creativity, marketplace over morality.

The Lunar Calendar allows us to synchronize directly with the bio-rhythms of our planet and the electro-gravetic cycles of our nearest neighbour. This in turn links us back into the perfect harmony of Universal time-cycles.

Extend this section…. i.e explain mayan calander a little and the limitness of the Gergian calander…

09 # Earth Council will not prosecute war crimes or eco-crimes for activities prior to 2012. This is primarily so to enable a peaceful transfer of power to Earth Council. Also current leaders are products of their conditioning based on the “old way” of competition and exploitation. However, reparation/compensation may be required.

Judgment day is here, and the judgment is there is no judgment. Those companies, governments and individuals found responsible for breaches of human and eco-laws will be given the task of helping right the wrong.

Dreamtank does not promote the idea of an eye for eye.

“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field

I’ll meet you there

When the soul lies down in that grass,

The world is too full to talk about

Ideas, language, even the phrase each other doesn’t make any sense” –Rumi.

10 # Education programs funded by Earth Council to encourage the learning of Alpha. An organic process; Alpha, formally know as English will be (it is and will grow more so) into the universal language of communication between the tribes of Earth. Alpha will continue to grow and include words from all continents. For instance the Inuit’s have many names for snow. Another example is Sanskrit and words such as yoga, asana and Samadhi which are already being used. The use of Latin in scientific journals will continue.

The use of other languages will continue and be encouraged to continue, as an important and integral aspect of cultural identity.

11 # Every Sovereign Being is indigenous to planet earth and has land rights/ custodianship of some land. This custodianship will be linked to Ecovillage and Ecoregional Councils who understand the paramount importance of planetary health.

It is important for humans to understand that this right is balanced by earning the right, by which we mean positive action of behalf of the environment is required.

12 # Formation of Unified Exploration of Space (U.E.S). Rather than sporting competitions like the World cup and the Olympics being the only way the Peoples of the Earth come together we promote unified space exploration. This way we can all work together for a common goal. Also it is of paramount importance that we present a unified face to the rest of the universe.

13 # Formation of a yearly Global Art Festival (G.A.F).This will be the other mechanism for unity. In a different country each year a global cultural exchange will take place, where different art forms of dance, music, theatre and other will be shared in a massive and uplifting global celebration of mutual respect and honor.

Drugs and their appropriate use:

Firstly everything we put in our mouths is a drug, will be broken down and assimilated as chemistry. Some chemistry may be considered (e.g. natural food), 2.semi-organic (e.g. food grown with chemical fertilizers and pesticides, genetically modified food or irradiated food) and 3.non-organic (artificial chemicals).

14[a] # Type 2 and 3 food products to be reduced and eliminated in Ecovillages that choose this. This will happen via truth in labeling and the onus on business not to provide toxic food type 2 and 3.

“Nature provides us with a huge variety of wholefood. Some of it – fruits, nuts, berries and many vegetables – can be picked, washed or hulled, and eaten just as is. Most of the others need only cooking and perhaps some seasoning to be delicious and digestible. Some of the grains need a bit of processing – cracking or grinding perhaps. Isolating fats for cooking and seasoning requires pressing (in the case of oils) or churning (as in the case of butter). But all of this is fairly simple – no refining, manufacturing, or packaging is required.

Yet today much of the food we eat comes to us by way of processing plants. This is especially true of grains, sweeteners, and fats – many of which have been altered to make tastier or to prolong their shelf life. The upshot? Fresh, nutritious foods have been replaced by refined, chemically altered, disease-promoting food.” -Carrie Demers, MD.

“Many scientifically valid concerns are raised by independent scientists worldwide about the safety of these foods (i.e. genetically modified). GM foods were initially approved as safe as a result of a political directive which overrode the warnings of the US Food and Drug Administration’s own experts.” – Epidemiologist Dr Judy Carman and medical practitioner Dr Kate Clich-Jones.

“Let food be your medicine, and your medicine be you food.” –Hippocrates.

14[b] # Humane treatment of Animals. Live animals may not be transported large distances before slaughter (definition pending of exact distance; certainly no more than 500kms). Dreamtank promotes the Moslem tradition of Halal meat. I.e. where animals are blessed before death and also do not know it is coming. They must not be feed steroids and other hormones known to be damaging to ourselves and our children.

Dreamtank encourages farming practices that uphold respect for animals as beings in their own right. Dreamtank promotes non-specisist attitudes. Practically this means animals beings have the right to live in settings that as new as possible mimic their natural habitats. Chickens kept in cages or sheds their whole lives is a grossly unsatisfactory situation, and allowing them only one hour out does not constitute “free range”.

14[c] # Agriculture. Important to Earth Rejuvenation is agricultural methods that either return more to the soil than what it takes, or at least leaves the soil no worse off.

Dreamtank promotes organically grown food and organically grown “textile” plants (e.g. Hemp). Permaculture and Biodynamics hold important keys to our food production.

The push by international organizations to patent seeds, plants, and other natural resources is to cease immediately, and all such patents currently given to voided. For a farmer who saves their seeds to branded a criminal and charged with intellectual property theft beggars belief.

“Let the seed be exhaustless, let it never get exhausted, let it bring forth seed next year” -peasant prayer.

14[d] # Landfill. Dreamtank encourages Beings to be responsible for what is put into landfills and asks them to be treated as their own backyard.

Therefore, there will be a huge movement towards recycling of packaging. Any waste needs to non-toxic i.e. organic and degradable.

The status of the current legal drugs:

15 # Organic non-modified tobacco only available in eco-villages with a smoking policy.

Tobacco- Firstly cigarettes are actually a cocktail of highly toxic compounds that is linked directly to 70% of all drug related deaths. Over time it is envisaged smoking eco-villages will naturally diminish as they are replaced by less new addicts.

16 # Organic alcohol to be available only in eco-villages with a drinking policy.

Alcohol kills 20% of drug deaths and is also a toxic array of chemical additives.

17 # Implementation of herbal treatment in the first resort and chemical treatment in the last resort (or where herbs are clearly seen as ineffective). Prescription drugs: In the so-called “first” world we readily resort to strong drugs/medicines but often herbal drugs would work as effectively and without such intense side effects. For instance insomnia treated with chemicals creates dependence, toxic build-up and intense emotional side effects. In 98% of the case herbals would work yet are not used. Current use of codeine/morphine could be replaced by opium tinctures.

Why are herbal natural drugs not used more? This is because the drug industry cannot easily patent a plant and make a vast sum of money (This is a poor reason to justify current prescription drug use).

“The doctor of the future will give no medication, but will interest his[her] patients the care of the human frame, diet and in the cause and prevention of disease” Thomas A Edison.

The current illegal drugs:

18 # In a small % of eco-villages the use of so-called recreational drugs and so-called hard drugs will be available. Substance users will be permitted to live peacefully and lead otherwise healthy and productive lives.

Current world practices [i.e. current trafficking of drugs] see some secret service organizations and corrupt custom agents funding unapproved activities, as well as interfacing with mafias and sometimes creating them.

This creates crime and crime related industry such as prisons, police, judges, lawyers etc. In fact 70-80% of all crime is drug-related.

18b# Sacred use of consciousness raising (or altering, depending upon ones perspective) plant medicines available in eco-villages that permit it.  “They were cattle-raising, Great Goddess-worshiping partnership societies practicing an orgiastic and psychedelic religion, the roots of which reach back toward Neolithic Africa and the emergence of self-reflecting consciousness”.

It is wise here to mention that these higher states of consciousness are attainable naturally; the difference is that, when naturally attained, they are maintainable or continuous.

19 # Pornography will only be available in eco-villages that have a pornography policy. It will be completely removed from the internet. Over time it is envisaged these eco-villages will disappear as the current dysfunctional adults die and are not replaced by other dysfunctional people. Young healthy people not exposed in their eco-village will not choose to live in such a place.

Pornography: Can be considered and classified with drugs as it is potently mind altering and linked to sexual dysfunction. It has also been linked to advertising, poor body-esteem and pedophilia.

“Our Mother the Earth is Growing Old Now”

Northeastern North America: Iroquois Confederacy.

“The Haudenosaunee, or Six Nations Iroquois Confederacy, is among the most ancient continuously operating governments in the world. Long before the arrival of the European peoples in North America, our people met in council to enact the principles of peaceful coexistence among nations and the recognition of the right of peoples to a continued and uninterrupted existence. European people left our council fires and journeyed forth into the world to spread principles of justice and democracy which they learned from us and which have had profound effects upon the evolution of the modern world. (Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson visited the Iroquois Peace Confederacy and sat in Council with the Clan Mothers of the Six Nations. They were inspired by this form of democracy and incorporated their findings into the United States Constitution, using indigenous wisdom for the Bill of Rights.)

Brothers and Sisters: our Mother the Earth is growing old now. No longer does she support upon her breast the teeming herds of wildlife who once shared this place with us, and most of the great forest which is our home is gone today. The forest was butchered a century ago to make charcoal for the forges of the Industrial Revolution, most of the game was destroyed by sport hunters and farmers, most of the bird life has been destroyed by hunters and pesticides which are common this century. Many of the rivers flow thick with the effluence of great population centres throughout the country. We see the “scorched earth” policy has not ended.

Brothers and Sisters: We cannot adequately express our feelings of horror and repulsion as we view the policies of industry and government in North America which threaten to destroy all life. Our forefathers predicted that the European way of Life would bring Spiritual imbalance to the world, that the Earth would grow old as a result of that imbalance. Now it is before all the world to see- that the life-producing forces are being reversed, and that the life-potential is leaving this land. Only a people whose minds are twisted beyond an ability to perceive truth could act in ways which threaten the future generations of humanity.

We direct to your minds that peace is not merely the absence of war, but the constant effort to maintain harmonious existence between all peoples, from individual to individual and between humans and the other beings of this planet. We point out to you that a Spiritual Consciousness is the Path to Survival of Humankind. We who walk about on Mother Earth occupy this place for only a short time. It is our duty as human beings to preserve the life that is here for the benefit of generations yet unborn.

Brothers and Sisters: The Haudenosaunee are determined to take whatever actions we can to halt the destruction of Mother Earth. In our territories, we continue to carry out our function as spiritual caretakers of the land. In this role as caretakers we cannot, and will not, stand idly by while the future of the coming generations is being systematically destroyed. We recognize that the fight is a long one and that we cannot hope to win it alone. To win, to secure the future, we must join hands with like-minded people and create strength through unity. We commemorate two hundred years of injustice and the destruction of the world with these words”.

[Stanford University ecologist Paul Ehrlich believes that the answer to our global difficulties will be “quasi-religious”. He suggests that our main dilemma is not a lack of information or technological capability. Rather, our problem is inherent in the way we perceive our relationship with the rest of Nature and our role in the grand scheme of things. Harvard biologist E.O.Wilson proposes that we foster BIOPHILA, a love of life.]

THE RECOGNITION OF NATIVE WISDOM: (A synthesis by David Suzuki)

[The total Aboriginal world population is now only 4% of the total human population and this is threatened as well.]

Aboriginal people around the world are in the final stages of an assault by conquerors that are intent on exploiting their land and resource base. Of course, the history of our species is one of conquest and takeovers of territories. But like the current spasm of species extinction, the destruction of indigenous people is now occurring with frightening speed. Once these peoples have disappeared, their body of priceless thought and knowledge, painstakingly acquired over thousands of years, will disappear forever. And like a species that has lost its habitat and survives only in zoos, indigenous people who have lost their land and eke out a living in tiny reserves of urban slums lose their uniqueness and identity.

(A Landmark 1987 report by the World Commission on Environment and Development boldly concurred with this – the Brundtland report.)

Traditional Native knowledge about the natural world tends to view all of nature as inherently holy rather than profane, savage, wild or wasteland. The landscape itself is seen as sacred and quivering with life. It is inscribed with meaning regarding the origins and unity of all life, rather than seen as mere property to be portioned legally into commercial and real estate holdings.

Native wisdom sees spirit; however one defines the term, as dispersed throughout the cosmos or embodied in an Inclusive, Cosmos-sanctifying Divine Being.

Native wisdom tends to assign human beings enormous responsibility for sustaining harmonious relations within the whole natural world rather than granting unbridled license to follow personal or economic whim. And it tends to view the universe as the dynamic interplay of elusive and ever-changing natural forces and accepts without undue anxiety the probability that nature will always possess unfathomable mysteries.

“Even the most atheistic scientist doesn’t know how the world got started, nor does anyone know what was there before the Big Bang. Just look at the incredible quality of our molecules: nucleic acid molecules that replicate so beautifully; phosphates that transfer energies; proteins, enzymes, that facilitate all sorts of metabolic processes… There is much that the scientist cannot explain.” -Ernst Mayr, Evolutionary Biologist.

Native wisdom tends to honor as its most esteemed elders those individuals who have experienced a profound and compassionate reconciliation of outer- and inner-directed knowledge, rather than virtually anyone who has made material achievement or simply survived to chronological old age.

In Native societies genuine wisdom is attributed to those with the capacity to feel, to exhibit compassion and generosity toward others, and to develop intimate, insightful, and empathic relationships not just with fellow human beings but, in some sense, with the entire membership of the natural world. It tends to reveal a profound sense of empathy and kinship with other forms of life, rather than a sense of superiority over them. Each species is seen as richly endowed with its own singular array of gifts and powers, rather than as somehow pathetically limited compared with human beings.

To indigenous peoples around the world, the sacred is, and always has been, waiting to be witnessed everywhere- diffusely scattered to the four directions of the winds- and “everywhen”- continually, throughout all time.

Modern science looks out upon the same universe through a very different lens. Through an often laborious process of debate and discussion, the “community” of scientists itself agrees for a time upon an interpretation of some aspect of the world- a view, more intellectually satisfying paradigm, or model of reality, the lastest in a long, lurching succession of ever- provisional scientific “truths”.

However, eco-scientists speak knowingly of the genetic and evolutionary kinship of all species and of our fundamental dependency upon the systems of nature. And they plead for a new global environmental ethos based on this scientifically documented unity- one that may grant all forms of life an inherent value and right to exist and burden human beings with a greater sense of responsibility for maintaining long-term ecological balances in the biosphere.

(It is important to note and understand that Native knowledge and spiritual values are not simply “natural resources” [in this case, intellectual ones] for non-natives to mine, manipulate, or plunder. They are, and will always be, the precious life-sustaining property of First peoples: sacred symbols encoding the hidden design of their respective universes; mirrors to their individual and collective identities; and ancient and irreplaceable maps suggesting possible paths to inner as well as ecological equilibrium with the wider, ever-changing world).

The nature-wisdom of Western Elders: (By David Suzuki, scientist and ecologist)

Over the years, a host of prominent life scientists have taken passionate public stands that seem in some way heretical to the “conventional wisdom” of the mainstream scientific community. Their views suggest humans ought to treat the natural world as sacred, or as worthy of profound veneration, for the well-being of all life on earth. Some openly concede that scientific thought has its limits and that certain aspects of the universe may forever remain mysterious to scientists.

Some of them publicly grieve for the ecological destruction they have witnessed during their lifetimes and question whether we possess the will and stamina to alter the environmental deterioration that the march Industrial Civilization has wrought.

Other scientific elders speak out on what they suspect may be inherently sacred, or spiritual, dimensions of nature. One remarkable public statement, titled “Preserving and Cherishing the Earth: An Appeal for Joint Commitment in Science and Religion”, was issued at a recent international conference on the environment and economic development in Moscow, attended by religious, political, and scientific leaders from eighty-three nations. Importantly, it was signed by a number of the most respected and articulate Western scientists of our times, including astronomers Carl Sagan and Freeman Dyson, physicist Hans Bethe, atmospheric scientist Stephen Schneider, and biologists Peter Raven, Roger Revelle, and Stephen Jay Gould. One of its most scientifically daring passages states:

"As scientists, many of us have profound experiences of awe and reverence before the universe. We understand that what is regarded as sacred is more likely to be treated with care and respect. Our planetary home should be so regarded. Efforts to safeguard and cherish the environment need to be infused with a vision of the sacred”

These and other contemporary scientists and science observers are implicitly expressing a yearning for the same sort of integration of knowledge and human values that takes place in the undivided Native Mind. Where will we find the wisdom to make our way through the maze of global overpopulation, industrial toxins, loss of biodiversity, ozone depletion, global warming and countless other unfolding environmental crises that cast a long, uncertain shadow over the earth’s fate?

In his recent book “In defense of the Land Ethic”, environmental philosopher J.Baird Callicott suggests that traditional Native American nature-wisdom might become living, cultural “role models” for all the world to witness and emulate. The idea that Native worldviews are steeped in genuine environmental wisdom is not, he insists, some sort of “necromantic invention” or a return to guilt ridden, Western notions of “noble savages”. On the contrary, it arises from a clear-eyed recognition of indigenous societies’ sense of relationship with the natural world.

Clearly it is time for a global science-compatible Native ecological consciousness to emerge and inspire “non-natives” to adopt environmental values. Dreamtank demands a host of calm, compassionate, and far sighted voices of society’s wisest elders- Native and scientific- to be heard clearly above the din of economic rationalists.

There will be no jobs on a dead planet!

The Stewardship Model; a Christian perspective:

The Christian thinkers who formulated this model conclude that God did indeed give humans dominion of the Earth, but only on the condition that we act as wise stewards, exercising our dominion with prudence and care. This is the model that is preferred within evangelical and fundamentalist circles.

Within the mainstream and liberal Christianity are two more models, eco-feminism and creation spirituality. Eco-feminism observes that dominion over women and over the earth spring from the same masculine, patriarchal institutions, and that salvation for the earth, women, and ultimately men, will flow from modifying those institutions. Creation spirituality attempts to help Christians and others recover the nature mysticism of some medieval Christians such as Meister Eckhart, Julian of Norwich, Mechtild of Madeburg, Hildegard of Bingen, and Francis of Assisi.

“To commit a crime against the natural world is a sin,” Bartholomew (leader of 300million orthodox Christians) told a symposium on religion, science and the environment. “For humans to cause species to become extinct and to destroy the biological diversity of God’s creation, for humans to degrade the integrity of the earth by causing changes in its climate, stripping the earth of its natural forests or destroying its wetlands… for humans to contaminate the Earth’s waters, its land, its air, and its life with poisonous substances- these are sins.”

Muslim scholars reach out to the Pope

More than 130 Muslim scholars have sent an open letter to the Pope and other Christian leaders in an attempt to diffuse religious tensions, saying ‘the very survival of the world itself is perhaps at stake”.

In the letter, Muslim scholars from around the world say finding common ground between the world’s biggest religions is not simply a matter for polite dialogue between religious leaders.

“If Muslims and Christians are not at peace, the world cannot be at peace,” they say. “With the terrible weaponry of the modern world, with Muslims and Christians interwined everywhere as never before, no side can unilaterally win a conflict between more than half of the world’s inhabitants. Our common future is at stake. The very survival of the world itself is perhaps at stake.’

Using quotations from the Bible and the Koran to support their message, the scholars say: “Our very eternal souls are… at stake if we fail to sincerely make every effort to make peace and come together in harmony. So let our differences not cause hatred and strife between us. Let us vie with each other only in righteousness and good works.”

The letter was signed by Muslim scholars including Algerian Religious Affairs Minister Boubdellah Ghlamallah and the grand Mufti of Egypt, Ali Gomaa.

“History is a race between education and catastrophe” -H.G.Wells.

“Where is the wisdom we lost in knowledge? Where is the knowledge we lost in information” -T.S.Eliot.

“And where is the information we lost in data?” -Harlan Cleveland.

Information- expands as it is used. Information spontaneously tends towards abundance, not scarcity. But what remains scarce and competitive is human attention, and our ability to understand, turn into knowledge, and use all the information available to us.

Education as we currently understand it really represents indoctrination into industrial corporate ethos, and will be radically different. There will be an emphasis placed upon self-management techniques so that students may experience harmony and control over the body/mind system. Today children grow up totally unprepared to manage themselves or the environment. They are little more than leaves in the wind, manipulated by a corporate ethos of greed.

Excerpts from Green or Gone (David Shears and Gary Sauer-Thompson):

We are addicted consumers of fashion or pop music or academic life or conservation but are only temporarily satisfied when we acquire the thing we desire. We then want more varied experiences and more of them. This is the seed of environmental destruction which will lead to ill-health. To recognize, discuss and act on these insights might enable us to regain control of our manipulated feelings. We need to have ways to maintain our feeling based on thoughts and actions that are consistent with the ecological ethic. In the past the desire for novelty was met by day-to-day life, by an appreciation of seasons, by intense socialization and by ritual. Redevelopment of some of these lost sources of satisfaction might mitigate the harms of rampant individualism

Specialization in universities stops our best minds dealing with important issues such as global warming. To understand this process and its complications requires the interaction of many disciplines- physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, computing, engineering, economics and social psychology. [It is worth noting that the undivided Native mind has no problems whatsoever in determining what is ecologically healthy.]

The seeds of competition, consumerism, economic greed and gender roles are established as early as the infant school stage, when the child is learning basic literacy. This value system is reinforced at each stage of education.

The ethos of our universities today serves what are seen as the economic necessities of the nation and the universities themselves increasingly resemble corporate empires with liaisons and funding from industry and business. Even within the research sphere national funding is defined by priorities which have had political input.

We are moving steadily away from many of the essential tenets of universities such as conservation of knowledge, the advancement of knowledge by basic research, the refinement of knowledge by critical review and scholarship, and the assumption of the role of a conscience and critic of society.

“In an infinite universe, everything is possible.”

This following question was put to Albert Einstein; “Do you believe that absolutely everything can be explained scientifically?”

“Yes it would be possible,” replied the aged, white-maned scientist serenely. “But it would make no sense. It would be description without meaning – as if you described a Beethoven symphony as a variation of wave pressure.”

This section is intended as a vision outline for education post-shift. It will grow very much from this bare outline.

“Ecosophy is about how to live wisely on this planet. How our economic, monetary, business, political, sociological, psychological, and ecological constructs and activities all interact and affect our collective presence on this planet. It constitutes the indispensable common foundation underlying any one of the fields of knowledge mentioned earlier. It looks at the human species within the context of the broader biosphere with which we are interdependent. Ecosophy is only one of the signs that our civilization has moved from Modernism to what we now call the Age of Integration.” -Bernard Lietaer.

“We all have specific talents, but with some people these attributes are more obvious. Furthermore, society at different times places more value on some talents than others. If you are a good footballer, musician, or speaker, then this is easily recognizable by other people and society in general. But if you are able to work with children and inspire them, or to create a beautiful garden, or repair a car, or if you are a good parent, or are able to understand the problems of others with compassion, then these are qualities are still talents. They are less obvious talents at first glance, but nevertheless they are as substantial as any other. Therefore, try to realise that is not only those who have gained fame who have talent. Try to do work that suits your nature. Many people try to succeed in a desirable, high stakes sphere [actor, executive etc] which they are unsuited for. This leads to unhappiness.” –Paramhamsa Nirjananda.

“On the new earth, old age will (again) be universally recognized and highly valued as a time for the flowering of consciousness. For those who are still lost in outer circumstances of their lives, it will be a time of late homecoming, when they awaken to their inner purpose. For many others it will represent an intensification and culmination of the awakening process” -Echart Tolle.

Healing Science Arts (Inner technology):

Yoga and meditation (and other healing science art modalities such as Tai Chi, Chi Qong, Merkabar technology and others) will be fundamental tools used to achieve self-management. The human body is a vehicle and most westerners experience life in a much less than optimal manner. This is primarily because of reliance on comfort, poor posture and food selection choices.

Flexibility is important for enjoying you stay here on earth.

Mind/emotion management is of paramount importance. Most people in the so-called “first world” are not experiencing happiness despite high incomes and material things. Meditation practice and/or prayer are invaluable tools to assist the Self to manage/control the mind.

The best happiness comes from the practice of contentment.

“In discussing an approach to bringing about positive changes within oneself, learning is only the first step. There are other factors as well: conviction, determination, action and effort. So the next step is developing conviction. Learning and education are important because they help one develop conviction of the need to change and help increase one’s commitment. This commitment to change then develops into determination. Next, one transforms determination into action – strong determination to change enables one to make sustained effort to implement the actual changes. This final factor of effort is critical.” –Dalai Lama.

Most people are subject to endless and often trivial or damaging array of thought patterns. The prevalence of mental health issues in so called first world nations is a strong indicator of unhappy people. Also people rarely smile.

“Yoga chitta vritti narodha” -Patanjali Sutra.

Yoga is the control of the modifications of the mind. Narodha means control; there is no other English word for it. Control does not mean suppression, but channeling or regulating. Therefore this teaching emphasizes the importance of directing the mind to the positive. The simplicity of this does not undermine just how profound the effects of training the mind in this way can be.

The development of community living (Ecovillages) will assist hugely in giving people a sense of connection, self-worth and belonging. Living with like minded people creates a loving space which humans are crying out for [It is a sad but true fact that many Beings do not experience love at this time on the planet].

Love is an indispensable requirement for a happy person.

“A sense of urgency can be a vital factor in effecting change. It can give us tremendous energy… The importance of urgency not only applies to overcoming problems on a personal level, but on a community and global level as well.” –Dalai Lama.

Key principles in dealing with people: 1:33 Patanjali (psycho-technology)

With happy (sukha) people act with friendliness.

With unhappy (duhkha) people act with compassion.

With virtuous (apunya) people act with delight.

With wicked (vishayanam) people act with indifference or disregard.

To explain this further when we act friendly to happy people we do away with jealously, when we act with compassion to unhappy people we do away with impatience and our behaviour helps to heal; when we act with delight with virtuous people we let go of envy. And, by disregarding wicked people we distance ourselves from negativity and harm.

HOWZO is a sacred word steeped in ecological as well as aesthetic, religious, and moral meaning;

Beauty, harmony, order, goodness and happiness

In counterpoint to chaos, evil, despair and ugliness.

Humankind or People are being groomed for membership of an Intergalactic Federation and harmony between the tribes is a requirement for entry. Full membership is granted upon the return of HOWZO (now an Alpha word as well as a Navajo word; refer policy 10).

The next technology is bio and is already dormant within us:

“Clairvoyance, clairsentience, seers, intergalactic communicators, cross-species communicators (i.e. between life forms on earth), levitation, teleportation, dream weavers, astral traveling, crystal activators and other faculties will be re-embraced by 2020” Anonymous.

“Above me lay the endless heavens and I began to feel the sophisticated energy of extraterrestrials peering back at me”

Earth Council Embassy will welcome Members from ‘Off-World’.

A short note from the Intergalactic Federation of Optimism:

As you awaken you will learn to project only love and live in an ever-expanding now. Every word you speak has power, is mantra, so use them wisely. Here is a short list of deletions/corrections to current use.

Have to - Get to

Need to - I will

Should - I will

Fuck - Love

Dude - Friend

Why - What purpose does it serve?

History - Mystery

Shut up - Be quiet

I hate - I have a problem with

Question - Quest in

The Love Peace Emissary Council of Earth…

Only speak when you are contributing to the silence. In the ever evolving Now the only thing to do (and to do is to be) is respond and trust yourself. Fear is the desire for control or acceptance.

“If you are bound by chains, your inner shaman can break them. If fears linger, the Pachamama [earth-nature-universe] can deal with them. Never forget that nature has endowed you with the ability to work miracles” – Chamalu.

If you are not dreaming you must be asleep.

The highest and most true form of communication is Telepathy (or psychic osmosis):

Telepathy is real and is the highest form of communication as it is impossible to lie or deceive and transcends verbal language. As human beings establish themselves back into the Golden Age more communication will happen this way, particularly in day to day living between individuals and families. The ‘Indigos’ are all telepathically linked and are here to teach this ability.

The second most powerful form of communication is via sacred geometry/abstract symbols/yantras/ mudras/ and mandalas. Visual forms of communication load an enormous amount of information into them making them an efficient form of communication.

“This symbol is called the Galactic Butterfly which is said to represent all of the consciousness that has ever existed in this galaxy. This is all of our physical ancestors both human, animal, reptile, fish, shell fish, plants as well as the consciousness which organized all of the raw material from a whirling disk into stars then planets and solar systems. Big meaning. So big that the original Maya had no symbol for this. In their civilization it was like having no name for God. Just knowing the concept was good enough. Later this pattern was devised by Toltec or Zapatec weavers as a pattern for blankets and this is where Jose Arguelles came across it. He called it Hunab Ku. The indigenous people call it “The Galactic Butterfly”. Butterflies are seen as ancestors returning for a visit to physicality. Wearing one of these symbols is very powerful as it broadcasts your reaching to actively join the consciousness of our galaxy.” Ian Xel Lungold

Please note there a few translations for this symbol. Another translation is “one giver of movement and measure”. There are over 100 translations for Om, which highlights the limitness of the written and spoken word.

One story about the above symbol is that it represents the four directions the tribes of the earth come from and the gifts they each bring as they form the Rainbow People; from the North they bring clean technology, from the East they bring yoga/meditation (inner technology), from the West they bring rhythm and dance and from the South the Dreaming.

Therefore every group/tribe of People brings gifts to the circle. None come as beggars. When everybody balances all four gifts in themselves, then and only then may you be considered rich.

The third most powerful form of communication is sound, e.g. Mantras/ sacred songs.

Mantra means “the force which liberates the mind from bondage” and “Mantra is a combination, or assembly of powerful soundwaves. As such the intellectual understanding of the mantra is not at all necessary. It is not the meaning- some mantras do not have meaning- but soundwaves created by the mantra which influence the cosmos, internally, and externally” -Paramahamsa Satyananda.

“The various musical notes have their own corresponding nadis or subtle channels in the kundalini chakras; and music vibrates these nadis, purifies them and awakens the psychic and spiritual power dormant in them”  -Sivananda.

“Far more than musical representations of history, these songs (native songs) serve as vital time-traversing vehicles. They can transport members across the immense reaches of space and time into the dim mythic past of creation by the very quality of their music and the emotions they carry” -David Suzuki.

Song-lines: Gitksan (Central British Columbia):

Each Gitksan house is the proud heir and owner of an ada’ox. This is a body of orally transmitted songs and stories that acts as the house’s sacred archives and as its living, millennia-long memory of important events of the past. This irreplaceable verbal repository of knowledge consists in part of sacred songs believed to have arisen, literally from the breaths of the ancestors.

The use of sound by druids:

“Syntony of vibrations is achieved when all members of the chain follow an identical regimen… fix the same symbol in their inner light. This may consist of pronouncing (or chanting) internally and externally (with one’s voice, will and spirit) the ritual formulas, sometimes even following a certain rhythm or singing songs suitable for the purposes of certain operations.  All members evoke in themselves the state of fluid vibration, which is then exalted and potentized through “empathy”. The purpose of the chains/circles that are ceremonially convened may be a higher illumination of all the participates, or of one of them, or else practical and contingent realization; or the initiation of a neophyte, on whom the head of the chain bestows states of consciousness through “induction of the light and the power of the entire chain, or for other reason”

“The Earth is an Acoustic Resonance Machine” – Nikola Tesla.

Spoken and written language is the fourth powerful and really may be considered as mantra.

“Our speech-oriented culture is beginning to take note of the profound and overlooked contribution of nonverbal and implicit verbal behavior to the processes of communication. This contribution of our actions and our way of saying things, rather than our words, is especially important since it is inseparable from the feelings that we knowingly or inadvertently project in our everyday social interaction, and since it determines the effectiveness and well-being or our intimate, social, and working relationships. Indeed, in the realm of feelings, our facial and vocal expressions, postures, movements, and gestures are so important that when our words contradict the messages contained within them, others mistrust what we say – they rely almost completely on what we do.” -Albert Meahrabian.

Working/living in circles, sacred ceremony and ritual:

All circles can begin with a prayer/invocation firstly from an indigenous ceremony maker and then by anyone in the circle who wishes.

The mantra OM can be used as a universal sound and be chanted three times to open and/or close a circle.

The attempt by outsiders or non-iniates who try to record sacred ceremonies will always be as futile as dissecting a butterfly to determine “butterfly ness”.

Amazonia; Kayapo

When the Kayapo gather to dance in sacred ceremonial circle, they know they are dancing to preserve and sustain the structure and integrity of the entire natural world.

The Kayapo Indians are a people who, against great political and economic odds, continue to inhabit vast tracts of tropical rain forest in the Amazonian heartlands of Brazil. Deeply embedded within their nature-embracing myths are timeless beliefs that pay homage to ancient reciprocal relationships among animals, plants and human beings.[In recent decades biologists have devoted considerable time and effort to studying a specialized evolutionary process in nature known as “cooperative” evolution or co-evolution]

The world energy Circuit: Columbia (north western Amazon); Desana

Within the ancient traditional worldview of the Desana Indians, solar energy is not only biologically potent but in some sense divine. The total pattern of solar energy flow in nature can best be visualized as a single huge closed circuit in which the entire biosphere participates. It constitutes a precious reservoir of spiritual/biological power that is capable of supporting a finite number of organisms. In sum, it represents a fixed quantity of energy that flows eternally between man and animal, society and nature.

The Desana believe that the quantity of energy being fixed, man must remove what he needs only under certain conditions and must convert this particle of “borrowed” energy in a form that can be re-incorporated into the circuit.

[This idea or way of life is fundamental to the survival of the human species and many others.]

The GaiaMind Project:

The GaiaMind Project is dedicated to exploring the idea that we, humanity, are the Earth becoming aware of itself. From this perspective, the next step in the evolution of consciousness would seem to be our collective recognition that through our technological and spiritual interconnectedness we represent the Earth growing an organ of self-reflexive consciousness. While we believe that the Earth is alive, and we are part of it, we also affirm the Great Spirit of Oneness found at the heart of all the worlds’ great spiritual traditions. What is most important may not be what we believe, but what we find we all share when we put our thoughts aside to go into meditation and prayer together.

The eight powers of the soul:

Power over others is force. Power over the self is wisdom. Therefore the wise traveler chooses carefully, and considers everything In the light of the light.

The first power; the first power to focus, to pack up that which is gone, and leave aside that which is to come. Thus the sage reclaims control of the mind.

The second power; deep in consciousness of the soul the sage plants the root of his mind like a tree that can bend with the wind. The sage tolerates everything, and remains unshaken. This is the second power.

The third power; no door is shut by the lord/ess of love. Following the Teacher the sage accommodates all difference. This is the third power.

The fourth power; tricks and illusions are everywhere, and the deluge of words can drown the path. The sage discriminates, finding the diamond among the counterfeit. The fourth power is discernment.

The fifth power: seeing his/her own actions as clearly as he sees his brother’s or sister’s the sage never lets desire influence decision. Accurate judgment is the fifth of the powers.

The sixth power; even the wise traveler is beset by obstacles. The sage faces the boulder on the road, and the weakness inside with the same courage. Facing with courage is the sixth of the powers.

The seventh power; creating alliances the sage helps his companions. Two can do what one cannot. Cooperating in all things he gives honor to his companions. To cooperate is the seventh power.

The eighth power; when folly begins thieves rule. The sage unaffected withdraws. To withdraw with no Blame is Wisdom. This is the eighth of the great powers.

The right to fail: (Yogananda):

“The only failure there is, is the failure to give it a go. I have failed only if I fail to begin, if I fail to jump in, if I fail to take the first step… Break free from the inner voice and give yourself the right to fail”

The change in the collective consciousness we are working on at this time is; “It will not work. It is shameful to fail and therefore save yourself the embarrassment” to “It could work. It’s fantastic to succeed and therefore go for it”.

“Once you have begun failure or success is irrelevant. You succeed just by attempting!”

The Law of Success:

Success in life does not entirely depend upon ability and training, but also depends on your determination to grasp opportunities that are presented to you. Opportunities in life come by creation, not by chance. You have earned them, use them to best advantage. You possess the power of thought and the power of will. Utilize to the uttermost these divine gifts. Which is stronger success thoughts or failure thoughts?

Your work can be called a “success” only when in some way it serves people and the planet.

Power to go within: Attuned to your soul, you will be able to think correctly regarding everything you do; and if your thoughts and actions have gone astray they can be realigned.

Will is the dynamo: Along with positive thinking, you should use your will power and continuous activity in order to be successful. Mechanical will is the unthinking use of will power. Conscious will is a vital force accompanying determination and effort, a dynamo that should be wisely used. To create dynamic will power, determine to do some of the things in life that you thought you could not do.

You may control destiny: Mind is the creator of everything. You should therefore guide it to create only good. If you cling to a certain thought will dynamic will power, it finally assumes a tangible outward form. When you are able to employ your will for constructive purposes, you become the controller of your destiny.

Overcome fear with faith: Fear exhausts life energy; it is one of the greatest enemies of dynamic willpower. When consciousness is kept on God/dess you will have no fears, every obstacle will then be overcome with courage and faith.

A wish is a desire without energy. After a wish comes intention – the plan to do a thing, to fulfill a wish or desire. But “will” means “I act until I get my wish”. When you exercise your will power you release the power of life energy.

New efforts after failure bring true growth: Even failures act as stimulants to your will power and to your material and spiritual growth. But new efforts must be well planned and charged with increasing intensity of attention and dynamic will power. It is better to die struggling than abandon your efforts while there is still a possibility of accomplishing something more.

The successful persons may have had more serious difficulties to contend with than the ones who failed, but the former trains themselves to reject the thought of failure at all times. You should transfer your attention from failure to success, from worry to calmness, from mental wanderings to concentration, from restless to peace, and from peace to the divine bliss within. When you attain this state of Self realization the purpose of your life will have been gloriously fulfilled.

Swadhaya – Self-analysis: Diagnose your failures and sort out your good and bad tendencies. Analyze what you are, what you wish to become, and what shortcomings are impeding you. Decide the nature of your task – your mission in life. Endeavor to make yourself what you should be and what you want to be. As you keep you mind on God/dess and attune yourself to It’s will, you progress more and more surely in your path.

Your ultimate purpose is to find your way back to God/dess, but you also have a task to perform in the outer world. Willpower, combined with initiative, will help you to recognize and fulfill that task.

The creative power of initiative: Initiative is the creative faculty within you, the spark of the Infinite Creator. It may give you the power to create something no-one else has ever created. The accomplishments of a person of initiative may be as spectacular as a shooting star. Apparently creating something out of nothing they demonstrate that the seemingly impossible may become possible by one’s employment of the great inventive power of the spirit. Initiative enables you to stand on your own stand feet, free and independent. It is one of the attributes of success.

Habits of thought control one’s life: It is not your passing inspirations or brilliant ideas so much as your everyday mental habits that control your life. Habits of thought are mental magnets that draw to you certain things, people and conditions. Good habits of thought enable you to attract benefits and opportunities. Bad habits of thought attract you to materially minded persons and to unfavorable environments.

Weaken a bad habit by avoiding everything that occasioned it or stimulated it, without concentrating upon it in your zeal to avoid it. Then divert you mind to some good habit and steadfastly cultivate it until it becomes a dependable part of you.

Through difficult daily lessons you will someday see clearly that bad habits nourish the tree of unending material desires, while good habits nourish the tree of spiritual aspirations. It is in the power of self-control lies the seed of freedom. Self-control and indomitable will are preliminary prerequisites for one who would master the divine alchemical science of the mind.

Attunement to Divine Will is the most important factor in attracting success.

One who bows willingly (and totally) to the cosmic flow of the universe is able to become one with the Tao. <<not my will be done but Thy will be done, for Thy will is my will>>

“It is not merely the positions of the planets or the influence of spirits or divinities, but the total consequence of all beings united by millions of years of world-line history in a context of increasing interaction and mergence. Opening our minds to this mergence, to higher and more integral states of illumination, leads to a reconfiguring of time and space as it reveals increasing degrees of subtle influence enfolded into even vaster networks of causality. The holistic structure of this causality are non-linear, simultaneous, reiterative, and discontinuous in space-time. This means events happen instantaneously over great distances, either spatially or temporally, so that a particular moment may metamorphose or catalyze events simultaneously in the past, present or future.” –Gnostic Tarot by ??

“What is lost on the level of form is gained on the level of essence. In the traditional figure of the “blind seer” or the “wounded healer” of ancient cultures and legend, some great loss or disability on the level of form has become an opening into spirit. When you have direct experience of the unstable nature of all forms, you will likely never overvalue form again and thus lose yourself by blindly pursuing it or attaching yourself to it.” –Echart Tolle.

“We don’t see things as they are. We see them as we are.” Anais Nin.

Beware a premature definition of reality

Guidelines for Self Assessed and Peer Assessed Initiation:

Only a darkened consciousness can choose freely to seek again knowledge of the world of spirit. Only in the stark aloneness of the enclosed self can arise the will to go beyond the mists and once again into the light.

“What is arising is not a new religion, spiritual ideology, or mythology. We are coming to the end not only of mythologies but also ideologies and belief systems. The change goes deeper than the content of your mind, deeper than your thoughts. In fact, at the heart of the heart of the new consciousness lies transcendence of thought, the newfound ability of rising above thought, of realizing a dimension within yourself that is infinitely more vast than thought. You no longer derive your identity, your sense of who you are, from the incessant stream of thinking that in the old consciousness you take to be yourself. What liberation to realize that the “voice in my head” is not who I am. Who am I then? The one who sees that. The awareness that is prior to thought, the space in which the thought-or the emotion or sense perception-happens.” Echart Tolle.

The objective of all initiation ceremonies is to enable individuals to see true beauty and gain knowledge of truth.

Dreamtank members respect everyone’s sovereignty and decisions. We also seek to stand in our full presence and emanate divine essence. In this manner and no other, we have the power to affect another’s choice to do the same. Our embodiment of spirit is the only act that will assist the mission in unfolding smoothly and efficiently to its destined core fusion (There is no loss of individuality with unification and there is an expansion of consciousness).

Unity Consciousness… [Unity is just a step, an important one, but there are many others. It is not the end… there is a lot more] There is one reality; link of left and right hemispheres; [i.e. Ida and Pingala; the lunar and solar forces; left and right nostril; refer nadi shodam; Yoga] out of duality consciousness into unity consciousness. Merkabar [vehicle of ascension] is so called in Zulu, Israel and Egypt. Star tetrahedron …..

We evolve to conscious Co-creation of existence and experience.

Universal Integration:

“When the Children of Earth learn self-reliance and interdependence, our common Burden Basket will one day be tossed in the fire of Creation. The smoke rising from that fire will signal the answer to all the prayers of the Fifth World of Peace”. –Jamie Sams.

The demonstration of initiative represents an interest in being part of Dreamtank. You may make a cyber connection via if you wish to assist this collective facilitate a positive shift in consciousness. There is much creative work [play] available to those so inspired.

Dreamtank recognizes all Beings doing ‘inner work’ to be intimately connected with the shift/evolution of consciousness.

While is seems there is a hierocracy of colors below the truth is no color is higher or lower but simply serve an integral function to the whole. Just like worms are not lower than humans. But if you insist in viewing one higher or lower then pink is highest. The heart chakra is the center.

Realize at some point, you will if you so choose, attain mastery of all colors. May your path be cherished and protected.

Indifference-Love - By Elizabeth Haich (Initiation)

“If you look within rather than only without, you will discover that you have an inner and an outer purpose, and since you are a microcosmic reflection of the macrocosm, it follows that the universe too has an inner and outer purpose inseparable from yours. The outer purpose of the universe is to create form and experience the interaction of forms- the play, the dream, the drama, of whatever you choose to call it. Its inner purpose is to awaken to its formless essence. Then comes the reconciliation of outer and inner purpose: to bring that essence- consciousness- into the world of form and thereby transform the world. The ultimate purpose of that transformation goes far beyond anything the human mind can imagine or comphrend. And yet, on this planet at this time, the transformation is the task allocated us. That is the reconciliation of outer and inner purpose, the reconciliation of the world and God(dess)”. Echart Tolle

“The outer purpose belongs to the horizontal dimension of space and time; the inner purpose concerns a deepening of your Being in the vertical dimension of the timeless Now”. Echart Tolle

The ten transcendental virtues of an enlightened being are:

Generosity, discipline, renunciation, wisdom, perseverance, forbearance, truthfulness, determination, loving-kindness and equanimity.

“The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes,

but in having new eyes” Marcel Proust

“Let our effort to discover our own essential nature, that indwelling Universal Power, be a characteristic feature of the new millennium we are about to enter. Let this be recognized as one of the important goals of the century” –Amma’s address to the United Nations.

Dreamtank Gateway has been the work of so many individuals and groups that it cannot be attributed to any one being. Ho, To the Body of Beings united in this quest.

This document was created using global telepathic links and the internet. Respect and acknowledgement to the dreamers dreaming in the Age of Purification and Integration. We are planting the seed of the Golden Age of Infinity.

Deep regard and gratitude to the People of Peace; the Hopi (Indigenous American Nation) for their prophesy which inspired the birth of Rainbow Nation.

Many, many thanks to the Rainbow Elders David Suzuki and Peter Knudtson. Their book “Wisdom of the Elders”, a book which honors Native Wisdom was an indispensable guide and way-shower for this Dreamtank Gateway.

And via this book contributions are gratefully acknowledged from the Iroquois Confederacy, the Desana Indians of South America, the Gitksan of Central British Columbia, the Kayapo of the Amazonia and many Western eco-scientists.

Deep, deep gratitude for the spiritual assistance and support from the women Pitjantjatjara Elders (SA;Australia), the whole Bungalung Nation (NSW; Australia) and the Coolum Nation Elders (Melbourne; Australia). Also respectfully acknowledged is the interpretation of the ethos of the Australian Aboriginal People that in the basis for Earth Council (Yarralin people NT;Australia). Many, many thanks to the whole Indigenous Australian population for their patience and forbearance in the face of great adversity.

Eastern thought has also influenced the work in major way. Gratefully, respectfully and sincerely acknowledged is the practical and spiritual support on all levels from Paramahamsa Satyananda Bihar India, who has been and still is one of the leading proponents of transformation through Yoga.

Many, many thanks to Paramahamsa Yogananda for the Law of Success.

Deep, deep thanks and respect to Mother Theresa and Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (Amma) who have shown by example how to be of practical service at this time.

Deep, deep respect to his Holiness the Dalai Lama for his teachings. His happiness and gentleness in the face of great adversity is an example to All.

Deep, deep respect to humanitarian to a nation [Pakistan], Abdul Sattar Edhi who opened his first clinic in Karachi shortly after partition. “I’m a Muslim, but my true religion is human rights.” He says [79 year old man who started ambulance for the poor without discriminating caste, religion, or gender].

Thanks to Africa for the dance and beat of the universal heart. For without this rhythm Dreamtank Gateway would have been lost before it began to open. May the world drum pulse forever.

Many, many thanks to the groups of shamans working together in Hawaii and South America for their unwavering support of the highest order.

To the King of Bhutan sincere thanks for the concept of Gross National Happiness.

Deep, deep gratitude to the Pachamama Alliance [Indigenous Elders and Shamans of the Amazonian region of Ecuador] for there tireless work to save their home, themselves and the multitude of beings that inhabit the Amazonian rainforest]. Dreamtank acknowledges that the saving of the Amazon to be the premier symbol of humanities desire to save their planetary home. All of the Earth is sacred and should be so regarded, however, Dreamtank have chosen the Amazon to be a Global Focal Point. The oil existing under these forests in Ecuador would only fuel USA’s oil needs for 21 days. May sanity prevail!

Deep gratitude and awe to the ancient Mayans (Time Lords/Lordesses) who left behind the keys to this global awakening [Refer traditional Mayan calendar]. It is noteworthy that a very rare planetary alignment will occur on December 24, 2011one year before the Maya calendar ends. On this date all the planets in our solar system will be spaced 30 degrees apart. Statistically, this phenomenon could only occur once every 45,200 years. Apparently, the Maya foresaw this alignment and thus, to them, the year 2012 was far more than a precessional cycle, it was a major galactic event.

Despite some indigenous misgivings Dr. Jose Arguelles and Lloydine Arguelles have done commendable work in bringing 2012 and 13:20 sacred ratio to the “western mind”. Refer:

Deep respect and gratitude to the Earth Charter, The Global Ecovillage Network, Greenpeace, Centre for Change, Friends of the Earth, Amnesty International, Earth Council Alliance, The Climate Project, UNEP [United Nations Environment Program], Gekko Activists [Protectors of Gippsland Forests Australia], CodePink [Frontline activists America], The Emerald Forest and The GaiaMind Project.

Deep respect and thanks to Algerian Religious Affairs Minister Boubdellah Ghlamallah and the grand Mufti of Egypt, Ali Gomaa.

Thanks to the author James Redfield for The Tenth Insight, Holding the Vision (also wrote “The Celestine Prophesy”) for re-inspiring this work when inspiration was so needed.

Thanks to Bernard Lietaer who wrote “The future of money” (Creating New Wealth, Work, and a Wiser World) for an insightful book. It is to be considered a landmark.

Thanks to David Shearman and Gary Saucer-Thompson for the book “Green or Gone”.

Thanks to David C Korten for his invaluable work around economic justice.

Deep respect and thanks to Echart Tolle for all his books, particularly “The New Earth” and “The Power of Now”.

Thanks to all people from all the lands who worship Peace. May we all help usher in the new world of peace, prosperity and happiness for All. Deep respect to the many friends from all nations who have helped focalize (coordinate) the work, dream and attempt to unite the many disparate elements of the reality. One reality that we are about to commit global suicide and the other that we are to move into the Golden Age. May we listen to both and act accordingly. Many people argue that Earth Council is a pipe dream but as we ‘quicken’ towards 2012 the Eternal Disciples of Peace will help manifest the Divine plan of Unity, Peace and Love on Earth.

Ascended Masters, All Saints, Cosmic Masters, Angels, Archangels, Avatars, Bodhisattvas, Guru’s, Prophets, Rishis, and the entire Cosmic Dimensional Hierarchy [whole light beings] deep, deep gratitude...

May peace prevail on Earth. May peace prevail Within.

All paths lead to the same great centre.
