Early Childhood Lab

Summary:

The ECH Lab offers early care and education programs for young children in the Nacogdoches community. The childcare facility is available to anyone on a tuition basis. There are five separate age groups, including classes for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. The program offers year-round, full-time care, five days per week. The hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

SFA Charter School

Service:

Charter School (Kindergarten through 5th grade)

Summary:

The SFA Charter Campus is based on the twin goals of improving public education and enhancing educator preparation. The school serves as a Field Based Center for the College of Education and provides "hands-on" and observational experiences with children for university students in Elementary Education, Kinesiology, Music and other university instructional programs. The mission of the SFA Charter School is to create a learning environment that provides a model curriculum and supports student development of autonomy, openness, problem solving, and integrity through a learning centers approach.
