Vacant Committee Positions

posted 5 Feb 2018, 09:16 by Eardisley Tennis and Croquet Club

We currently have 3 roles on the committee that we are searching to fill. A brief outline of the associated duties are listed below:

Chairperson – Chair the three or four committee meetings during the year including the AGM. Liaise with the local LTA as and when appropriate, up-date the management plan and associated mechanisms, guide the club through any future improvements and developments.

Secretary – To assist the chair by issuing and recording timely agendas and minutes for the meetings. Ensure the efficient flow of information to members regarding any important or general notices etc. Carry out any other duties that the chair might require.

Treasurer – Manage our club accounts in an orderly and timely fashion with associated records of payments, receipts etc. Prepare year-end statements for external review/audit and presentation, and regular updates, to committee. Identify fund raising opportunities that might benefit our club and lead/help with applications.

Although these are all very important roles within the function of our club the time required to make a positive impact in each position is relatively minimal. If you feel you are able to contribute to the future growth and development of our club please discuss with one of our committee members or reply to this email:

  • Richard Hibbs, Membership Secretary - 01544 327060
  • Emma Bowen, Children and Coaching - 01544 327316
  • Daisy Bishop, Press and Events organiser - 01544 327540
