Pairings for Stableford Tournament

posted Jan 20, 2012, 12:49 PM by Luis Franco   [ updated Jan 20, 2012, 12:56 PM ]

Gentlemen,

Attached are pairings for Saturday's tournament with hole designation where each group will start.

As a reminder Saturday's tournament is a shotgun start with tee off at 7:30am and all players must be in their carts by 7:15am.

Regarding Fees for this tournament -

Several members have asked about the additional $10 rate reduction which is referenced in the Q/A section of the Eagle Ridge home page. This is in regards to "Rewards Members" who signed up before Dec 22nd  and are under the assumption that weekend rates are $60 through March. Eagle Ridge Management has been very engaging and cooperative throughout out ERMC negotiation proceedings.  We've negotiated our $80 rate for all events which includes, Golf cart, prize  fund a medium bucket of balls for all tournaments and practice facility privileges for all members the entire year. ER management has informed us that the $10 discount is not honored for tournament functions so your "Rewards" price for this tournament will  be $70 green fee +$10 for tournament prize fund for all ERMC.

Lunch -

Wedgewood will also be offering a $10 buffet meal (Tri-tip/Salads) to all ERMC members and will be seating us downstairs in the banquet room.

Pace of Play -

Attached is the Eagle Ridge GC Pace of play guidelines/recommendations. Please read these and adhere to them for all ERMC tournaments as they will be strictly enforced.

Thank you,

Dan

A WORD FROM OUR PRESIDENT

You can also find the forms in the ER pro-shop, fill them out and leave a check with Rodney Wilson/Stuart Spence.

Also I wanted to point out that the $80 ERMC tournament rate is for the morning 7:30 am times and includes the $16 prize fund, medium bucket of balls and cart. PM rounds will be $70.

Regards,

Joel

Fellow Eagle Ridge Men’s Club members,

1st The ERMC Board of Directors hopes you all had a safe and wonderful Christmas holiday with friends and family and wishes you a Happy New Year!

If you haven’t had a chance to get out and play Eagle Ridge since the KemperSports team took over, you’re in for a real surprise as the course is in the best shape it’s been in for years. Greens are fast and fairways are tight...again proving that Eagle Ridge is a true challenge and one of the best golf venues in the state.

Your ERMC Board of Directors has been working hard the past 2 months in negotiations with the new KemperSports management team/staff to finalize plans and schedules for 2012 season. I’ve attached the latest schedule for your review.

Some highlights regarding the 2012 season/schedule:

  • The Kemper management team has agreed to early 7:30 AM starts for most home events this year. This will allow us to get on/off the course earlier in an attempt to limit the effect on public play and time away from our families.
  • We’ve also been successful in negotiation of “Shot-Gun” format starts for most events. The Eagle Ridge KemperSports management team is willing to evaluate the ERMC events (temporarily) to monitor the effects of course maintenance and pace of play. Also this gives us all a chance to finish the rounds at the same time and meet together after for some bonding and socializing.
  • Pace of Play – I want to reiterate that pace of play will be closely monitored and strictly enforced by the KemperSports management team this year. They have informed us that 5 hour’s will be max time for round completion on all ERMC events with no exceptions. This has been successfully implemented at the Bridges Golf course by this KemperSports management team and we look forward to this improvement at Eagle Ridge as well.
  • Majors – As usual we will have 1 home major and 2 away  majors this year. We’ve successfully negotiated “Bayonet GC” in May and again our NCGA home course “Poppy Hills” in July.
  • Access to the private practice area – All ERMC members will have access to the private range however you need to check in with the pro-shop for access/availability
  • We have negotiated an $80 rate for 7:30 AM starts....this will include cart and new this year is a medium bucket of balls.
  • Last but not least...the KemperSports team is working with the club house food/bev management to improve the upstairs “Belvedere Terrace” and create a Golfers Lounge. This will include the addition of a big screen TV/Heaters/New carpeting/Portable mini bar...etc.

2012 promises to be one of the best ERMC seasons ever and we are excited about our kick off “Stableford” event January 21st. Here is a link to the basics of the Stableford scoring system.

EAGLE RIDGE MEN'S CLUB 2012 RENEWAL

posted Dec 21, 2011, 1:56 PM by Luis Franco   [ updated Dec 21, 2011, 1:57 PM ]

Gentlemen,

It is that time of the year again to renew your membership with the NCGA and Eagle Ridge Men's Club for 2012.  The Renewal fee will be the same as last year which is $90 if you renew before January 10th.  For new members and any returning members who renew after January 10th the fee will be $120.  Current Eagle's Nest Members will continue to be $55.

I wanted to highlight a couple changes for the upcoming year.  First, we predominantly have a new Board with 5 new members and 2 returning members. The Board positions are as follows:

Joel Jessel – President

Jason Moore – Vice President

Dave Slater – Treasurer and Membership

Steve Self – Handicap Chairman and Rules

Dan Sunseri and Nolan Harding – Tournament Directors

Mark Sigala – Sponsorships and Tournament Committee member

Secondly, Eagle Ridge Golf Club is now being managed by Kemper Sports.  The Board has a meeting scheduled for mid December with the management at Kemper Sports at which time we should know more about the tournament fee arrangement for next year.   We are also working with Kemper sports on the 2012 tournament schedule.  Regarding both the tournament schedule and fee structure for next year we hope to have more information out to the ERMC membership over the next few weeks.

I have attached the Membership Application Form to return along with your check made out to the "Eagle Ridge Men's Club".  Please return the form and check to myself at the following address:
