I have been teaching science for nineteen years. Sixteen of which have been at Eaglecrest, Go Raptors!
I hold an B.A. in Biology and Chemistry Education from Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas and my M.Ed. is in Diverse Learning from the University of Phoenix. In 2006 I earned National Board Certification for Secondary Science Teaching.
One of my favorite EHS science colleagues is my husband, John Fennell. Our daughter Abby is the most interesting and fulfilling science experiment we've undertaken.
When I'm not busy with teaching I can be found in Leadville, CO, snowboarding, hiking, mt. biking, backpacking, quilting, reading, or just gazing at the view outside.
When my daughter began viola lessons last year I decided to tag along and learn the violin. I am proud to say I am as good, or bad, as the average 10-year-old.
