Mr. Aron Gideon

Mr. Gideon joined Chaminade in 2006 and is the Founder of the Eagle Business Program, which created Eagle Eye. He has taught Business, Economics, Government, Math, Sociology, and World Geography.
Coach Gideon has also rejoined the Chaminade Varsity Football staff after serving as Chaminade’s varsity offensive line coach in 2009. He now coaches Running Backs and Tight Ends. Gideon attended Bishop Amat High School in La Puente (’88) and was the CIF Heavyweight Wrestling Champion at Amat while playing football and baseball for the Lancers. A former walk-on football player at UCLA who earned a scholarship playing offensive line, Coach Gideon was named the Bruins’ Team Captain and Most Valuable Senior Offensive Player in 1992 after starting for three seasons.
He began his coaching career with the Bruins in 1994 and served as a graduate assistant coach of defense and special teams through 1995. In 1996, he joined St. Mary's College in Moraga as Offensive Line Coach and Special Teams Coach. He also coached Offensive Line at CSUN in 1997 and 1998. Coach Gideon left the college ranks and became a high school teacher in 1999.
Mr. Gideon married his college sweetheart, the former Laura Ramsden-McAnally. They live in Porter Ranch with their son Christian who attends Chaminade Middle School (’19) and Faith (’22).
