About Troop 413

We meet on Mondays at 7:00 pm sharp at St. Joseph's Church, Otis Orchards, Washington.  The first Monday of each month we usually have a Night Hike at a different location so CHECK THE TROOP CALENDAR in the left column to be sure.  We learn skills for life, work on advancement and even have patrol competitions every meeting!

We are a very active troop in the outdoors and go on a fun-packed campout every month, rain, snow or shine! We mix the camping trips to include both backpacking and "close support" events so that all Scouts can participate.  We attend summer camp for one full week each year at one of the great regional Scout Reservations.

One of our UNIQUE program enhancements is availability of our optional (and free!)  "Quiet Eagle" sessions.   These are conducted throughout the Scouting year and focus on one Eagle required merit badge at a time.  Meeting one half hour before the regular weekly meeting, it gives our Scouts an opportunity (and a little motivation) to move through some of the more difficult merit badges with the merit badge counselor's assistance and with the added benefit of idea sharing with a group.  Troop 413 has registered merit badge counselors for almost all Eagle required badges.  Those are:
Camping, Environmental Science,  Citizenship in the Community, Citizenship in the World, Citizenship in the Nation, Communications, Environmental Science, Family Life, First Aid, Hiking,Personal Fitness, Personal Management, and the Scout's choice of one of either Swimming OR Hiking OR Cycling and either Emergency Preparedness OR Lifesaving.

WHAT'S HAPPENING?!
Check the Calendar link in the left column for up to date details.
