Welcome to the online home of the Editors' Association of Canada, Kingston twig!

We are a group of editors living in Kingston and the surrounding area. Some of our members drive in from Brockville and Picton to come to our meetings, which are held on the second Thursday of every month. Please see the sidebar at left for information about our next meeting and take a moment to explore the site and find out more about the group and our members.

Also feel free to check out the article about the Kingston Twig in the Bulletin, the online publication of the National Capital Region branch, on page 2 of the February 2011 edition (the PDF will open in another window).

This is a collaborative site; all these pages are meant to be edited by all members. Please feel free to add announcements about what you're up to, ideas for future speakers you'd like to have at meetings, and any other thoughts you have about the group.

Did you know that EAC has been to Kingston before?

As reported in the Winter-Spring 2010 issue of Active Voice:

“On April 9, [1983?] Johan, Natalie King, and I [?] attended FEAC’s first summit meeting in Kingston."

May 1995 EAC/ACR conference held in Kingston for the first (and only) time [so far?] ... For a variety of reasons, this event, held in Kingston, had an extremely low attendance of forty people.

[I, for one, am encouraged that there were so many members here back then, and obviously some with energy for organizing a conference. -Adrienne]
