Healthy Choices Teen Pregnancy Prevention and Life-Skills Program for Girls is a health education and life skills program for young women.
Healthy Choices was created in collaboration with Mental Health counselors. Healthy Choices offers young women the opportunity to learn how to take advantage of existing community-based opportunities, and to avoid the pitfalls of ongoing poor personal choices. This program teaches youth to learn from their past mistakes, and make the appropriate decisions that initiate their plan to move forward to meet their personal educational and vocational goals. Female participants learn that by meeting these strategic goals, they establish the groundwork to meet other personal goals and create a life based on healthy choices.
