The Word

Jesus is God
<< John 1 >>
American King James Version

1In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2The same was in the beginning with God. 3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

9That was the true Light, which lights every man that comes into the world. 10He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11He came to his own, and his own received him not. 12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelled among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth

<< Hebrews 1 >>
American King James Version

1God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, 2Has in
these last days spoken to us by his Son, whom he has appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high: 4Being made so much better than the angels, as he has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

5For to which of the angels said he at any time, You are my Son, this day have I begotten you? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

6And again, when he brings in the first-begotten into the world, he said, And let all the angels of God worship him.

7And of the angels he said, Who makes his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

8But to the Son he said, Your throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of your kingdom.

<< John 1 >>
American King James Version

15John bore witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spoke, He that comes after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. 16And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace. 17For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. 18No man has seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him.

Bosom of the Father:
The Word that became flesh; JESUS;  in the bosom of the Father.
Jesus, the Word, is the very heart of God... Full of grace and truth.
The very heart of God
Come to us
Praise His holy Name!!!!

God so loved the world that He gave Jesus;  He gave His very heart...
That whosoever believes in Him shall NOT perish, but have everlasting life.

Now that is powerful.
This is definitely a place to praise the Name of the Lord.
To shout unto our loving Father with a voice of triumph.

How can we neglect so great of a salvation.

The Word was made flesh

The Word was with God and WAS God.
Well if the Word WAS God then the Word is still God
and can never stop being God.
God created the entire universe
by His Word.
The very same Word that came and dwelt among us,
and gave Himself as a ransom for our sins,
has risen and is seated on the right hand of the Father.
You see that very Word,
from the heart of God,
spoken from the mouth of God
created everything that we see,
and maintains it all.
That same Word that
created and maintains this world
had to come down and fix this world
when man messed it up through sin.
He is the way, the truth, and the life;
no one comes to the Father except through Him.

Need to give your life to the Lord Jesus?
Need to re-dedicate your life to Him.
