The objective of the Teen Advisory Board is simple: getting the next generation more involved in their own community. To achieve that goal is the question.
The TAB meets quarterly, so only about four times a year. However, the four subcommittees of the TAB are in constant contact with one another. They are the ones who brainstorm, advertise, and implement new ideas. We work closely with the many librarians at the Dusenberry-River Library branch, and often help out in many events. We also keep the library up to date on the newest popular book or hit song. Together, we constantly try to encourage children and teens to use the library and improve their library experience.
