Become a Volunteer
Volunteering is simple. Volunteer as a clean-up team with a group of your family/friends/co-workers, or volunteer as an individual and be assigned a team. Teams can pick their own clean-up locations; local parks, neighborhoods, stream banks, lake shore, parking lots, school grounds, workplace grounds, etc... or we can help your group find a location. Anywhere you see trash will make a great Big Sweep clean-up site.Learn More
Durham Big Sweep will be on Saturday, October 5, 2013, however volunteers interested in participating in Durham County can pick there own date anytime throughout the months of September and October and still be part of this widespread event.
A calendar of clean ups and site locations will be compiled so if your thinking about volunteering at a site local to you, you can find out more.
