The Spring 2012 Honors Seminar sought to outline a plan for the Signature Partnership of the Duquesne University Honors College and The Daisy Wilson Artist Community over a five-year period from 2012-2017.
"The strategic plan creates a framework for a Signature Partnership between the Daisy Wilson Artist Community (DWAC) and Duquesne University's Honors College... The plan suggests a timetable for the proposed actions, as well as a way to [objectively] measure the plan's success, as we look to foster future growth of the partnership."
Three Basic Assertions of the Spring 2012 Strategic Plan:
1) Reintroducing and promoting the arts will revitalize the culture of Pittsburgh's Hill District
2) Preservation of the August Wilson Boyhood Home will help to preserve August Wilson's legacy and philosophy
3) Academic and service opportunities will strengthen connections between Duquesne University and the Hill District
The Spring 2012 Strategic Plan for the Signature Partnership is an utterly impressive and comprehensive outline of measures intended to be undertaken by the Strategic Partnership. Please take the time to peruse the Strategic Plan through the link below:
