Welcome to The Dunboyne Men's Shed website. Every shed has a spirit all of its own and our shed possibly could be described as the the most laid back shed in the whole association. Our sessions always start with a cup of tea or coffee. By the time Pat is leading the way towards the wash-up, conversations have broken out on every side.Over the past year we have involved ourselves in a number of local initiatives. These include making seating for an outdoor classroom for Dunboyne Junior School, erecting fencing posts for the Rehab Daycare Centre and improving the outdoor fireside seating at the Scouts' Hall. We also help out the local Tidy Towns Committees by building nesting boxes. This is just the briefest of sketches of what we get up to. We try to make excursions of interest, play bowling once a month and try to have as enjoyable a time as possible. We are a democratic body who decide as a group what we are going to undertake - maybe that's the wrong choice of word.
We meet in the Scouts' Hall on the Rooske Roadl and are very grateful to the Scouts for allowing us to use this premises. Come and see what the shed is all about. You won't regret it.
Dunboyne Men's Shed is a member of IMSA in Meath. We meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 12.00 in the Scouts' Hall beside the Athletics Track on the Rooske Road in Dunboyne.
