The second annual Northland Sonia Kovalevsky Day (SK Day) is a day of fun mathematical activities and career information for 9th – 12th grade girls in the Duluth – Superior area.  The purpose of SK Day is to expose young women to the beauty of mathematics and encourage them to continue their study of mathematics in their future endeavors. 

The College of St. Scholastica will be hosting SK Day 2018 from 8:30 am until 3:30 pm on Wednesday 7 November 2018

Events during SK Day 2018 include a keynote speaker, three workshops, panel discussion with undergraduate and graduate college students, lunch, and prizes.

Registration is OPEN!!  All students must be accompanied by a teacher, parent, or guardian.  Teachers (parents or guardians) can register by filling out the following google Registration Form.  Please send a list of the students coming and any dietary restrictions.  If you have any questions please contact Donna Kirk at dkirk@css.edu. Registration will close at the end of the day on Wednesday 31 October 2018.
