Select an Idea

It's time to read through the list of ideas and select the one you are interested in learning about.
  • Committed students - Select an idea you could build a team around.
    • There can be more than one committed student on a project.  The key criteria is that you are committed to starting this company
  • Supporting role students - Select ideas that you'd be interested in joining if a good leader(s) takes it.
    • These are good roles for those who want to be part of a startup but plan to take another job by graduation.

Check out the ideas here, and indicate your interest

  • Ideas submitted for 2010 (from Summer 2010)

    • If you find an idea or decide to present your own, read below on how to signup to pitch it.

Select an idea to pitch

If you plan to lead a project, select an idea by Wednesday before the Kickoff at 5pm and be ready to pitch it on Saturday of the Kickoff event.

If you plan to play a supporting role, either join a team by the Kickoff event, or more likely, come to the event and hear all the ideas being pitched.  Joining a team is at the discretion of the team lead(s).

Rolling Admissions until October (Fall Term 2)

We'll let ideas into the program between the Kickoff in July and October.

  • To receive course credit, you have to be part of a team, and that team has to be admitted by the P4E Advisory Committee.
  • The first course you'll enroll in is New Ventures 1: Opportunity Evaluation which runs for six weeks.
  • We may offer a Checkpoint in September, where people can pitch another set of ideas.
