* - In boost mode, the output current is calculated by the simplified formula: Iout = 2 / Vf * Vin. For example, the forward voltage (Vf) of load is 5V, the input voltage (Vin) is 3.3V - this means the driver is in boost mode so the max output current in this case is 2 / 5 *3.3 = 1.3A
The customer must have soldering skills because the pads has small size and careless soldering can damage the driver. Use only neutral soldering flux and low-temperature solder in order to avoid overheating of the PCB. Observe the rules of antistatic protection, the driver is ESD sensitive.
1. Solder the wires
2. Attach small strips of insulating tape to the pads
3.Spread some thermal adhesive on the back of the driver
4.Press the driver to the heat sink
