Research Interests

My research interests lie in the broad area of applied electromagnetics, covering a wide range of frequencies from microwaves to optics, with a particular emphasis on the design of devices with unprecedented characteristics for modern communication systems. Some of the topics I have recently worked on include:
  • Magnet-less non-reciprocal devices (applications in full-duplex radio)
  • Non-linear metamaterials and metasurfaces
  • Gradient metasurfaces
  • Graphene plasmonics
  • Active and partity-time symmetric devices
  • Topological metamaterials
  • Microwave and optical components (antennas, filters, sensors, etc.)
  • Acoustical and mechanical devices
  • Analytical and numerical modeling in electromagnetics
