Short Bio

Dr. Shawkat Ali is  a research scientist at CESME, KAUST, KSA since 2022. Previously he was a post-doctoral fellow at Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Qatar 2019~2021. Previously he was an Assistant Professor at the department of Electrical Engineering, NUCES FAST Islamabad campus from 2016 to 2019. Before this, he was a Research Associate at Jeju National University, Jeju-do, South korea from august 2013. He was lecturer at department of electrical engineering, National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Islamabad, Pakistan. He received his Ph.D. degree in Printed Electronics Engineering from Jeju National University, Republic of Korea in june. 2016. He earned his M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Islamabad, & B.Sc degree in Electrical engineering from FUUAST, Islamabad, Pakistan. Prior to his Ph.D. he worked on RF circuits and systems.
