Brief Biography

Dr. Sandeep Kautish is an alumnus of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University (MDSU) Ajmer and holds Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees in Computer Science with specialization in Intelligent Systems in Social Networks, along with a Diploma in Management. He is an accomplished academic leader, researcher, and education strategist with over 22 years of experience in Higher Education and EdTech ecosystems, including nearly a decade of experience in academic administration and institutional leadership.

Currently serving as the Founding Pro Vice-Chancellor of Jigyasa University Dehradun, Dr. Kautish is actively contributing towards academic excellence, innovation-driven education, industry-academia collaboration, research promotion, curriculum transformation, and institutional growth. Prior to joining Jigyasa University, he served as Director – Academics & Innovation at PhysicsWallah Limited. He has also held the position of Director – CSE at Chandigarh University, a globally recognized institution ranked in the QS Asia and QS World University Rankings. During 2018–2023, Dr. Kautish served as Director – Academics at the Transnational Education (TNE) site of Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation in Kathmandu, Nepal, gaining extensive international exposure in academic leadership, cross-border education models, and global curriculum implementation.

Dr. Kautish has rich expertise in academic administration, outcome-based education, accreditation processes, faculty development, digital learning ecosystems, AI-driven education, industry partnerships, curriculum innovation, and employability-focused learning models. His leadership approach emphasizes innovation, research excellence, interdisciplinary collaboration, and future-ready education.

Recognized among the Top 2% Scientists globally by Stanford University and Elsevier for two consecutive years (2024 & 2025), Dr. Kautish is also a highly accomplished researcher with significant global academic impact. He has authored over 150 research publications, including 57 papers in prestigious SCI/SCIE Q1 and Q2 journals published by IEEE, Springer Nature, and Elsevier. His research contributions span areas including Artificial Intelligence, Healthcare Analytics, Business Analytics, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, and Intelligent Systems. A highly cited researcher, Dr. Kautish has received over 4,000 citations on Google Scholar and 2,000+ citations on Scopus, with an h-index of 35 (Google Scholar) and 29 (Scopus). He has also authored and edited more than 40 books with internationally renowned publishers including Springer, Elsevier, Wiley, Emerald, De Gruyter, Bentham Science, and IGI Global.
