Brief Biography

Dr. Sandeep Kautish is an academician by choice, boasting two decades of experience in academics, including nearly a decade in academic administration in various institutions in India and abroad. He is a work product of ICFAI University Hyderabad and has gained extensive experience in a diverse array of academic environments across the Indian subcontinent, including Hyderabad, Jaipur, Dehradun, Chandigarh, and Kathmandu (Nepal).

He served as Professor & Director of Academics at LBEF Campus, which is the Trans-National Education (TNE) site of Asia Pacific University (APU) located in Kathmandu, Nepal. APU is ranked among the top universities globally, placing under #600 in the QS World University Ranking 2023 and #240 in the QS Asia University Rankings of 2023. 

He possesses a stellar academic record throughout his educational journey, culminating in bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees in Computer Science, specializing in Intelligent Systems in Social Networks. Additionally, he holds a Diploma in Management. His research interests span Healthcare Analytics, Business Analytics, Machine Learning, Data Mining, and Information Systems.

An avid researcher, Dr. Kautish has authored over 100 research publications, including 46 in SCI/SCIE-indexed journals, 77 in Scopus-indexed journals, and 46 in the Web of Science Core Collection. Notably, in 2022, he pioneered a novel method for distributed denial of service (DDoS) mitigation strategy, particularly suitable for hybrid cloud environments. This work was published in the prestigious IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics (Impact Factor: 11.648). His research contributions have appeared in esteemed journals such as IEEE Access (SCI, Impact Factor: 3.715), Computer Standards & Interfaces (SCI, Elsevier, Impact Factor: 3.721), Journal of Ambient Intelligence and Humanized Computing (SCIE, Springer, Impact Factor: 3.662), Wireless Personal Communications (SCIE, Springer, Impact Factor: 2.017), and Multimedia Tools and Applications (Springer, SCIE, Impact Factor: 2.577). Renowned for his scholarship, he boasts over 1700 citations on Google Scholar, with an H-Index of 25 and an i-10 index of 47. His Scopus h-index stands at 17, a testament to the quality of his publications.

Furthermore, Dr. Kautish has authored or edited more than 23 books with esteemed publishers such as Springer, Elsevier, Wiley, De Gruyter, Bentham Science, and IGI Global. He was invited as a Keynote Speaker at VIT Vellore in 2019 for an International Virtual Conference held at the VIT Vellore Campus. In 2019, he filed a patent in the field of Solar Energy equipment using Artificial Intelligence. He has played a pivotal role in organizing over 10 conferences and 15+ FDPs/FTPs in India and abroad. He serves as an Editorial Member/Reviewer for various reputable SCI/SCIE journals, including IEEE Access (IEEE), Journal of Intelligent Manufacturing (Springer), Computer Communications (Elsevier), Multimedia Tools & Applications (Springer), Computational Intelligence (Wiley), and Australasian Journal of Information Systems (AJIS).
