Dr. Pal has joined in the department of Applied Chemistry, Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad on 12thAugust 2009. He did his Ph. D. from IIT Kharagpur. He was working as R&D Scientist at Hindustan Gum & Chemicals Ltd., Bhiwani, Haryana during Nov ’04 to Sept. ’06 and as Lecturer in the Department of Applied Chemistry of BIT Mesra, Ranchi from Nov ’06 to 11thAug ’09. He is the recipient of CANARA BANK BEST RESEARCHER AWARD-2015 (Applied Chemistry) and CANARA BANK BEST RESEARCHER AWARD-2014 (Applied Sciences) given by Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad. He is the recipient of DAAD FELLOWSHIP ‘2012. He is having almost 15 years of research experience in the field of Polymer Chemistry. His research interest is based on polymeric biomaterials, hybrid nanocomposites, hydrogels, nanogels, copolymers synthesised through ATRP. Presently he is having 71 International Publications of highly reputed journals, with h-index of 25 and i10-index of 43. TWO (02) Research Highlights in NATURE INDIA,TWO (02) PATENTS, FOUR (04) Book chapters, THREE (03) technical articles. He has already guided 3 Ph. D. students and 7 Ph. D. students are currently working under him.
