Research expertise:
Active Galactic Nuclei and blazars:
analysis of gamma-ray data from Fermi-LAT (Postdoctoral member of the Fermi-LAT Collaboration);
data reduction from optical telescopes (including spectropolarimetry with the 10-m Southern African Large Telescope [SALT]);
modelling of particles and photons interactions in the time and spectral domain.
Ground-based gamma-ray astronomy using the atmospheric Cherenkov technique (data analysis and Monte Carlo simulations – former member of the HIGRO/HAGAR and CELESTE Collaborations);
Direct search for dark matter with superheated droplet detectors – work on calibration data sets (former member of the PICASSO collaboration).
