I am a Professor at the Department of Information Technology, Faculty of Computing and Information Technology, King AbdulAziz University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

I received my Ph.D in Computer Engineering, in February 2011, from Kyung Hee University, South Korea. My supervisor was Prof. Choong Seon HONG who lead the Networking Lab.

I am primarily interested in Wireless networks, especially routing protocols, MAC mechanisms, IP and transport layer issues, cross-layer design, QoS provisioning and Energy efficiency of Ad Hoc, Sensor, Body Sensor and Mesh Networks. I am also interested in the integrated mechanisms of Wireless Sensor Networks and Cloud Computing.
